Blackarrow Defense Penetration Trio Build – Mistfall Hunter

This Blue Blackarrow build focuses on fully drawn arrows, Defense Penetration and dealing heavy damage from the backline. It is at its strongest in Trios, where a frontline and healer can create enough space for you to repeatedly charge Steel Arrows.

The build sacrifices some of Blackarrow's usual kiting potential by not running Seeker or Elusive. In return, it gains significantly more Ranged pressure and charged arrow damage.

To import the loadout:

1. Open the Prepare menu.
2. Select Manage/Import.
3. Choose Import Loadout.
4. Paste the Gear Code.
5. Select Save Loadout so it remains available in your presets.

Blue Loadout

• Valor 5 – Increases your overall Attack while also providing Defense Penetration. This forms one half of the build’s penetration setup.

• Ranged 5 – Improves your damage from a distance and extends your effective range. This helps prevent the noticeable damage drop off that occurs when firing from too far away.

• Fervor 5 – Consecutive hits build additional damage and provide more Defense Penetration, making it especially effective when you can fire continuously from the backline.

• Focused 5 – Improves Bow Charging Speed and your Movement Speed while charging. This makes it easier to prepare fully drawn arrows without becoming completely stationary.

The Blue equipment provides Valor 4, Ranged 4, Fervor 4 and Focused 4. Use Hero’s Ale to bring all four affixes to Level 5.

Blackarrow can equip three special arrows alongside three active skills. This setup uses fully drawn Steel Arrows for its main damage while carrying two different knockback options for protection.

• Barbed Arrow

Steel Arrow is your main damage arrow and can pierce through multiple opponents. This makes it particularly powerful in Trios, where enemies are more likely to group together. Even without that benefit, this arrow deals high bonus damage.

Concussive Arrow provides zoning and close-range protection. Its knockback helps reset the fight when a Mercenary or Shadowstrix reaches you, giving your teammates time to peel. You can swap this arrow for Spore Arrow or Bloodfly Arrow if you prefer if you want zoning or burst damage respectively.

Barbed Arrow punishes enemies whenever they dodge while affected by it. Combined with Laceration, opponents who exhaust all their dodges while marked will become Stunned.

Frostblight Bomb controls an area and can Freeze grouped enemies. Cold Infusion also Slows opponents during its delayed explosion, making fully drawn Steel Arrows easier to land.

Scattershot fires several arrows across a wide area and knocks enemies backwards. Alongside Concussive Arrow, this gives you a second way to create space when someone reaches the backline.

Rapid Arrows provides faster sustained damage when you cannot safely charge repeated Steel Arrows. It can also help pressure enemies who are already fighting your frontline.

• Measured Pace – Fully drawing and immediately firing a normal arrow restores Energy while carrying at least two Archer’s Arrows. This helps support the build’s repeated charged shots.
• Marksman – Fully drawn arrows home towards enemies near your crosshair, making them more reliable against jumping or quickly moving targets.
• Dodge Power Shot – Allows you to immediately fire your loaded arrow after dodging. The quick-charge shot can activate the special effects of a fully drawn arrow, making it useful when an enemy jumps onto you.
• Colossal Power – Increases your arrow Charging Speed, allowing you to prepare fully drawn shots more quickly.
• Full Draw – Increases the damage of fully drawn arrows and is one of the core damage Talents for this setup.
• Long Range – Fully drawn Steel Arrows gain additional damage and Impact when they pierce one enemy and hit a second target. This is especially valuable against grouped Trio teams, but can be swapped out in solos.
• Laceration – Stuns enemies affected by Barbed Arrow after they use their maximum number of dodges.
• Cold Infusion – Slows enemies who enter Frostblight Bomb’s blast area during its delayed explosion, making it easier to Freeze them and land a fully drawn Steel Arrow.

• Play behind your frontline. This build does not use Seeker or Elusive, so it lacks the mobility of a full kiting setup. Let your frontline occupy the enemy while you prepare fully drawn shots.
• Line up Steel Arrow against grouped opponents. Long Shot rewards you for piercing the first enemy and hitting a second target, making frozen or closely grouped teams your best damage opportunity.
• Use Concussive Arrow and Scattershot as your defensive resets. Both provide knockback, giving you two ways to create space when a Mercenary or Shadowstrix reaches you. Dodge can also fire a quick Concussive Arrow while repositioning.
• Combine Barbed Arrow with forced dodges. Concussive Arrow pressures enemies into spending their dodges, allowing Barbed Arrow and Laceration to eventually Stun them.
• Set up charged shots with Frostblight Bomb. Cold Infusion Slows enemies during the delayed explosion, making the Freeze easier to land. Use that opening to fire fully drawn Steel Arrows through the enemy team.
