Top 5 BEST Talismans in Minecraft Dungeons 2 Ranked

Overview

Minecraft Dungeons 2 is full of fantastic Talismans you can use to enhance your build in meaningful ways. And while the Talisman you choose might depend entirely on your setup, we've selected 5 that are amongst the strongest, making your journey in the Overworld and Sift all that much easier.

5 - Glowstone Flask

Healing is a massive part of Dungeons 2. Many times in my playthrough I found myself finding great use in the healing well Enchantment, or the Picnic Basket artefact. There are other ways of staying alive though, thanks to the Glowstone Flask.

This handy tool reduces the total cooldown of your healing potion by a base rate of 10%, going up to 25 when you hit level 3. While there are definitely better options for a build, the increase granted from this Talisman is no doubt noticeable, allowing you to get a little more carefree in fights.

Being able to also pair this with other health related Talismans is a great way to construct a tank build, and as such it deserves to sit at our number 5 spot.

4 - Fists Of Iron / Amethyst Lens

Our number 4 spot is a shared one based off of the style of bonus given. This is going to be the Fists Of Iron, alongside the Amethyst Lens dependant on what damage type you're maining. These Talismans can both give you a damage bonus of up to 35% to either melee or ranged.

It's not exactly the most flashy of the others on this list in terms of what it actually does, but when it comes to safe and reliable ones, you can rely on these two. For my own playthrough, the Fists Of Iron Talisman was something I used almost religiously as I slayed out with my build.

So if you're looking for an all around flat win for your damage, consider picking up one of these Talismans

3 - Tendrils Of The Sprout

On the subject of damage, let's talk about one of the strongest Talismans in the game: Tendrils Of The Sprout

This Talisman gives you an increased damage bonus based on a pre-requisite health threshold. At level 1, the tendrils will only give you 10% extra damage, and also require you to be above 95% health. In this state, you rightfully so might look at it and think it's one of the worst items in the game.

But level it up to level 3, and all of a sudden the tendrils will give you a massive 40% extra damage when you're above 75% health. This makes it a phenomenal boost for overall damage output, especially when you make it into the higher difficulty.

2 - Sigil Of Beeswax

This one might be slightly controversial if you're a player who wants to follow the motto of "kill or be killed", but the Beeswax Sigil is a fantastic tool for survivability. At level 3, it offers up to 35% increased maximum health capacity while equipped, surving as a major source of sustain.

When pairing this Talisman with other health focused items such as the Glowstone Flask or the Healing Heart, you can get a huge amount of defensive ability to help out in combat. Again though it is only fair to note that if you prefer to roll with a glass cannon playstyle, this Talisman might not be for you.

1 - Thrifty Pendant

By far the best Talisman you can use in Dungeons 2 has to be none other than the Thrifty Pendant. If things like the Fist Of Iron are the always active buffs you seek, consider the pendant to be the ultimate upgrade. This Talisman gives you up to a huge 50% damage boost, and all you need to do is resist the urge to empty your pockets.

The requirement for the damage bonus is to simply hold at least 8000 emeralds at once. There was a point at launch where this was a difficult feat due to the 10k emerald cap, but a post-launch update actually removed this cap. Now as a result, the pendant is easily the safest in slot Talisman choice you can make.

Once you're done with the story and your build is coming together, emeralds can quickly become an afterthought, made even easier with items that increase the amount of them you get. In which case, the pendant is no doubt, deserving of our number 1 spot due to just how easy it is to maintain.
