Build Variants

This variant is designed to get you started towards getting to T4 Content straight from Levelling.

This build requires No Uniques to get going which makes it an excellent starter build once you have enough Resource Management to get started.

It is recommended to have the following aspects before starting:

  • Aspect of Infestation
  • Aspect of Pestilence

You will also need to get to 20 Ranks of Ravager and have the Ferocity Minimum Ravager upgrade to ensure that you can achieve Perma-Evade using Evasive Swipe Rushing Claw. There is a video on how to achieve this Here.

Focus on rushing the Legendary Nodes on your Paragon Boards to start with as these will grant Huge Immediate Bonuses:

Mercenary

Raheir (Primary)

We take Raheir as our Primary for the Extra All Resistance and Bonus Damage from Inspiration.

Aldkin (Secondary)

We take Aldkin as our Secondary for the 40% Slow Movement and 20% Damage Reduction on affected enemies.

How it Plays

The main focus here is to apply Big Damage through the generated Pestilent Swarms.

The Shattered Vow unlocks a huge amount of damage here through the increased Damage Over Time Duration and enabling Berserking.

The following steps are the recommended Build Rotation for skill usage:

Starter

  • Cast Rushing Claw to move around
  • Cast Ravager for Vigor Generation and Additional Cooldown Rate
  • Cast Scourge for Vigor Generation and Vulnerable Application
  • Cast The Devourer on cooldown
  • Cast Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance and to generate Pestilent Swarms
  • Cast Stinger liberally around the other skills.

Endgame, Mythic and Pushing

  • Cast Rushing Claw to move around
  • Cast Ravager for Vigor Generation and Additional Cooldown Rate
  • Cast Scourge for Vigor Generation and Vulnerable Application
  • Cast Toxic Skin for Additional Armour and to Apply Weakness to Enemies
  • Cast The Devourer on cooldown
  • Cast Counterattack liberally around the other skills.

Build Overview

This Centipede Endgame Build focuses on optimising the Poison Damage across the build whilst staying tanky enough to beat all end game content. It does this through the following:

  • Use of Pestilent Swarms
  • Utilising the Three Spirit Halls, Gorilla, Centipede and Eagle via the Harmony of Ebewaka.
  • Making use of the Ring of Writhing Moon.
  • Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance in combat.
  • The Devourer for Big Poison Damage
  • Big Armour and Weakness Application via Toxic Skin
  • Huge Damage and Defence via Resolve Stacking.
  • Maxing Attack Speed through Aspects, Equipment and Ferocity.
  • Making use of the Shattered Vow for Big Poison Damage
  • Auto-Procs of Vortex and Scourge
  • The Balazan's Bite Talisman Set
  • Barrier for extreme defence.

How Do You Get Perma-Evade?

Learn how to Perma Evade from this video Here.

To attain Perma-Evade you will need to have a Minimum of 4x Ferocity so that you reset your Rushing Claw charges via the Charge Refund Rushing Claw upgrade.

You should be able to attain this through investing enough ranks into Ravager from the following affixes on the Amulet, Boots and Charms:

    • Focus Skill Ranks
    • Ravager Ranks
    • Gorilla Skill Ranks
    • Eagle Skill Ranks (with Harmony of Ebewaka equipped)

Why Does My Minimum Ferocity Go Below 4x When I have 20 Ranks Of Ravager?

There is currently a bug where if you have Skill Ranks being applied to Ravager associated with your Secondary Spirit Hall via the Harmony of Ebewaka then it will not honour these and you will in fact go below the 20x Ravager Rank threshold.

To bypass this you can over compensate to some degree in the Skill Tree but it's probably just best to try get your Primary Spirit Hall related ranks if possible.

How Much Attack Speed Do I Need?

Aim for a decent amount of Attack Speed through the following means:

    • Equipment Affixes
    • Offensive Temper Affixes
    • Paragon Nodes
    • Varyana Primary Mercenary (if you're struggling)

Now the Tzic Rune bug is out there we are dropping Shattered Vow in favour of a Legendary Weapon, preferably a Polearm but use the best you have. This have been reflected in the Pushing Variant.

  • Changed Aspect of Infestation from Ring to Amulet.
  • Changed Aspect of Supremacy from Amulet to Weapon.
  • Added Insatiable Aspect to Gloves.
  • Changed Talisman to incoporate Seal of the Diamond Mind with Balazan's Bite and Kwatli's Grace set bonuses. (I haven't tested this but it seems to be best)
  • Replaced 1x Balazan's Bite Charm and Protean Heart with 2x Kwatli Grace Charms.
  • Replaced Prodigy's Tempo with Revealing and re-ordered Paragon Board.
  • Added a Pushing (Bugged) Variant which makes full use of the Tzic Rune bug. This mostly switches out the Shattered Vow for a Legendary Weapon and shifts Aspects accordingly.
