The Amazon will be Coming to Diablo 4

At BlizzCon during opening ceremonies teased the Amazon coming to Diablo 4. This is a class that is very beloved by Diablo fans, and with the Lord of Hatred expansions many players have been wondering where the Amazon is. Skovos is rich in Amazon lore, and the Diablo development team thought it was the right thing to bring her to the game, but they just needed a bit more time to make sure she is perfect. She will be a gender locked class, to maintain true to the Diablo lore.

The Champion:

• the sword-and-shield melee fighter using buffs to reinforce both herself and her allies

The Skirmisher:

• a lithe and agile hit-and-run combatant tearing apart her foes with the Javelin

The Ranger:

• a precision tactical archer who snipes and cuts down enemies from a distance

The Commander:

• a general dominating the field with phalanxes of Valkyries at her call

Blizzard shared the three design pillars that helped shape the creation of the Amazon: battle expertise, unrivaled athleticism, and mythical magic. She is a fiercely disciplined warrior first who also leans into her mystical connection to her sister Amazons and Askari ancestors for magical aid when needed. The Amazon's history creates the strong foundation for a class with deep and powerful roots.

This is the identity that the Diablo development team is building the whole class around, to stay true to the lore.

The Amazon is coming to Diablo 4 in a Class Pack, with a current rough estimated release date being "the first half of 2027". The Diablo community has already begun speculating and has assumed that this could mean around the time of Season 17, but as of right now there has been no firm date released. When there is more information about the official release of the Amazon we will share the news immediately!
