Build Summary

Ice shards is a pretty fun build with the ability to ricochet off enemies. Lucky hit chance to freeze tempers help give us some much needed crowd control and boss stagger. I don't see this being a pit pusher, but it should be alright. After the pit nerfs I have made some changes.

• Can drop max life off chest for mana per second if you do not have starless • Ruby/Topaz in armor is personal preference, Ruby's have more value, but Topaz are more damage • Prodigy ring if no Starless • Mage-Lord Helm if no Harlequin • Cold or Vulnerable Damage tempers are fine, if you can't get close settle for +Damage • If you have a built rogue just get critical strike damage tempers for a one size fits all

Gameplay Loop

Standard Builds 1. If on vyrs just stay close to enemies and spam cast all your skills besides flame shield for ice blade enchant, which you should save for when you need it. Evade as needed to regain the crit chance bonus from Esu's Heirloom.

If on avalanche try to keep your distance and just pelt away. The same stuff applies as the Vyr's variant above, just try to stay ranged.

How It Works

Ice Shards has a pretty nifty ricochet node that helps give it some Area of Effect. It still suffers from some boss damage issues. You can run Vyr's or Avalanche. Vyr's is only viable right now because it is bugged and grants you the close damage to all skills.
