Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildMeteor - Armageddon
Starfall Coronet is getting a buff with the Midseason patch on 11/19 for Season 6. I think Meteor should be able to clear T95+ pit. Good luck.
Starfall Build after midseason update 11/19 • Shoutout to FEATHER for advice, they led the charge and did a T95 with starfall meteor pre buffs, proving me wrong that it was complete butt cheeks
• Ice Blade Enchant is the crux of this build, each slash will reduce meteors cooldown by 0.1s per charge
• Teleport Enchant is taken for mobility, and allows you to swap Shroud for Raiment for farming or pushing • TP Enchant is also great for stacking up Enlightenment • It is also used to make Familiars during Unstable Currents
Why not Meteor Enchant? • The devs added an internal cooldown to meteor enchantment, after the whole infinite meteor clickbait videos • It is trash now, Thank you Rob
• Offensive Tempers - Pyro Attack Speed, Fire Damage, Mastery Damage, Pyro crit dmg, and Crit Dmg are all FINE • I put Crit Strike Damage on Amulet so it can be used on other builds • Glass cannon on amulet can be Devouring Blaze, Inner Flames, or Elemental Dominance
Aspects • Inner Calm can be taken on the amulet, and three curses can replace conceited • If you are having mega issues with crit chance, drop conceited for Elementalist
I don't want to run Unstable Currents • Ok drop Orange Herald for Concussive Strikes, put Teleport or Familiars on the bar
I am having issues hitting armor cap • Drop Tibault's will for GA intelligence pants with armor, use snowveiled or concentration
strengths
- Meteors
- Schmeteors
- Meteors, Man
weaknesses
- Have to find God Roll Starfall
- Can't use perdition helmet
Build Notes
1) We will be spamming Meteor, Lightning Spear, and Ice blades whenever we can
2) We utilize Ice armor defensively for a large barrier, and you can pretty much press it whenever it comes off cooldown in the endgame builds. It is typically an engage.
3) Teleport is used for mobility, and to dodge exploding pools
4) Flame shield is used to immune frame boss/shade attacks and exploding pools. You can also use it as an engage if Ice armor is down.
Each season since Starfall Coronet got released, I try to make it work. I invest so much into cooldown reduction and am always disappointed with it's performance and spammability. With the introduction of the mythical unique helmet Perdition that provides 60%[x] damage, it's time to hang up the starfall, and try to make meteor work as a standalone on it's own using the base skill.
Meteor has access to some very good multipliers and has a high skill % value. It can deal decent damage given the right scaling. Direct damage fire has access to a few solid skill tree nodes and solid damage with the searing heat legendary node. Allowing meteor to cost mana again to cast has it's upsides, granting it access to use Starless Skies for a ton of attack speed, ranks to core, and crit chance.
A few other meteor enjoyers and myself have discussed, and we decided going forward with meteor this is the best course of action to take with the skill, until Starfall gets fundamental reworks. Don't be afraid to sacrifice some damage when you need to, in order to ensure you have the proper resources to spam meteor. In closing,
I opt to not take the meteorite rune in the endgame build, but feel free to give it a whirl and let me know how it performs via DM on discord. I am open to any and all suggestions on the build, I'm always here to listen. I take pride in trying to make off meta builds, and I put in a lot of effort into these skills, even if only a few people will use them. Best of luck in Vessel of Hatred!
