Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildBall Lightning - Zeus Tank
Ball Lightning is an amazing skill when combined with the Gravitational Aspect that enables casts to orbit around you. You can get a lot of these puppies circling you at once when you solve your mana regeneration and get high cast speed. Death by a million ticks.
Ball Lightning has remained a staple for many seasons, it's just been under the radar for a while, but has sat comfortably in A Tier. However it usually wants you to run the Raiment Chest to group up enemies when you teleport or evade with teleport enchantment. This can make you a touch squishy, but you gotta do whatcha gotta do.
Splintering is added to aid in mobbing clear, it doesn't hurt the build negatively when bossing if in a 1x aspect slot
Strongest Variant • If you want to run shroud of false death, you will need to drop warcry or dark shroud for vortex rune (KRY) • You would drop TP Enchant for Lightning Spear Enchant
Enchantments • Teleport Enchantment - Is taken in conjunction with attacks reduce evade boots and the Raiment chest to group enemies with every evade
Ice Blade Enchantment - is taken to get more conjuration mastery stacks and reduce cooldowns when ice blades attack things
How do we apply Burning? • When you do not have familiars on the skill bar, Familiars made during Unstable currents will default to fire familiars and can apply burning • Since we are always fighting in melee range, these familiars will always be applying burning around us when we need it
• Use an armor temper on pants if you need it • Splintering can go on amulet and swap with shredding blades. not sure which is better tbh • Evade cooldown reduction temper can be taken over unstable currents on amulet. Familiar duration or resource gen is also cool

Build Notes
1) We will be spamming Ball Lightning and Ice blades whenever we can, while evading into enemies to clump them with Raiment
2) We utilize Ice armor defensively for a large barrier, and you can pretty much press it whenever it comes off cooldown in the endgame builds. It is typically an engage.
3) Teleport is used for mobility, to dodge exploding pools, or as an engage to clump enemies out of range of our evade teleport
4) Flame shield is used to immune frame boss/shade attacks and exploding pools. You can also use it as an engage if Ice armor is down.
5) Unstable Currents can be used liberally and frequently when fighting enemies. Don't worry you'll get it back!
Ball Lightning operates with the Gravitational Aspect to enable Ball Lightning to orbit around you for a set duration. You can stack up a bunch of them with enough attack speed. You essentially become a walking lightning Blender. Because it's a melee build it is important that we run Raiment chest and teleport enchant to be able to constantly clump enemies with either teleport or our evade. Unfortunately Raiment makes you a little squishy.
Ball Lightning is very mana hungry, and as a result we have to pack the build with ways to restore our mana. The main way we do this is by generating crackling energy with Ball Lightning and passively picking it up which grants 12 mana per pickup. Luckily for us, the cracklings get generated at our feet so it happens passively.
This build really shines once you fully get your mana under control, and get very high attack speed. The more you can cast, the more damage you will deal as you can stack up more and more Ball Lightnings around you!
When fighting bosses, I typically walk around them in circles casting Ball Lightning, which means I am constantly picking up crackling that is generated and on the floor. Either that or you can stand in place and fidget around a little bit.
