Head bang into enemies and munch on some grindage till they are dead.

This Rabies build will have you biting enemies extremely fast to apply massive amounts of poison damage. Then enemies will explode in a burst of stones killing everything nearby!

  • This version of the build requires Ifeh's Dire Totem to function as intended.
  • You'll need Dark Howl if you want to use Debilitating Roar.

For General Pool unique items, you can upgrade a white Ancestral of the correct base type to Unique in the Horadric Cube. Chances depend on the number of unique items in that item type.

Stat Priorities

Offensive

  1. Damage Over Time Multiplier (Main GA/Masterwork target)
  2. Attack Speed (No more than 100%)
  3. Vulnerable Damage Multiplier (Masterwork upgrade at least one with GA)
  4. Weapon Damage (Only on weapons)
  5. Willpower (Always prioritize on armor)
  6. Elemental/All Damage Multiplier
  7. Skill Ranks

Defensive

  1. Maximum Life (You want this on all items unless you feel you can remove some and stay alive)
  2. Resistance (Get as much as you can without giving up Willpower or other important affixes)
  3. Armor (Be sure to have at least one affix on items minimum, but get as much as you can)

Utility

  1. Movement Speed (No more than 200%)
  2. Cooldown Reduction (Just enough to maintain your Ultimate 100% of the time)

Important Notes

  • Earthen Bulwark is used automatically with Que Rune for Barrier, Fortify, Healing, Resolve Stacks, and Unstoppable.
  • Cyclone Armor is entirely passive for Resistances.
  • If Energize is not needed, you can use Masochistic for additional damage.

Skill Rotations

  1. Toggle on Lightning Storm to proc Calm Before the Storm and increase Movement Speed.
  2. Toggle on Hurricane to Weaken enemies.
  3. Use and maintain Grizzly Rage off Cooldown for damage and healing.
  4. You can use Debilitating Roar off Cooldown to reduce enemy damage.
  5. Spam Rabies to kill everything.

  • Prioritize getting all Legendary Nodes before all else. Example: Constricting Tendrils
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 15 before going higher unless you cannot equip the next Glyph yet.
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 50 before going higher on any.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why am I squishy?

A: Survivability is all about stacking multiple layers of damage mitigation and sustain. You want Maximum Life on every piece of gear because it prevents one shots and your Barrier from Earthen Bulwark scales with Maximum Life. The build has great healing built in, so focus on reducing damage taken by stacking All Elemental Resistances and Armor. The Gems on jewelry are very high value to prevent the worst types of damage. Be sure to make sure you get Damage Reduction items and Aspects as recommended in the guide or alternatives listed below them.

Pretty sure he probably meant to put Damage Over Time there instead of Crit Damage

Having spirit issues with the build. I have everything but stone of Jordan. I replaced the amulet with malefic crescent for the time being as bloodhowl spam gives me spirit. I know the build has spirit issues. I can't toggle on lightning storm without going oom immediately.

Having the same issue even with Tibaults. I have 70+ spirit regen per second with Tibaults up, and the regen seems to just stop working most of the time. This build is extremely resource heavy and the aoe is not good. For bossing this build is great. For AOE, not so much.

I guess you could toggle off LS after you get your reset of grizz if you're having resource issues. Thats what I do on occasion, and I just leave hurricane on.
