Some men just want to watch the world burn...

This build utilizes the item Anathema of the Primes to turn Infernal Breath into a Core Skill so that we can melt enemies! We can also spam Evade for quick teleports constantly! The longer you hold Infernal Breath the more damage you do!

  • Anathema of the Primes is required for the build to function as intended!
  • You need either Tir or Tibault's Will to maintain resources.

For General Pool unique items, you can upgrade a white Ancestral of the correct base type to Unique in the Horadric Cube. Chances depend on the number of unique items in that item type.

Stat Priorities

Offensive

  1. Critical Strike Chance (No more than 100%)
  2. Critical Strike Damage Multiplier (Main GA and Masterwork focus)
  3. Vulnerable Damage Multiplier (Masterwork upgrade at least one with GA)
  4. Weapon Damage (Only on weapons)
  5. Main Stat (Always prioritize on armor)
  6. Elemental/All Damage Multiplier
  7. Skill Ranks

Defensive

  1. Maximum Life (You want this on all items unless you feel you can remove some and stay alive)
  2. Resistance (Get as much as you can without giving up Willpower or other important affixes)
  3. Armor (Be sure to have at least one affix on items minimum, but get as much as you can)

Utility

  1. Movement Speed (No more than 200%)
  2. Cooldown Reduction (Just enough to maintain your Ultimate100% of the time)

Important Notes

  • Volatility comes from Infernal Breath: Lesser Demon Volatility through Infernal Homunculus automatically after casting Infernal Breath at least once every 15 seconds.

Skill Rotations

  1. Spam Bombardment to trigger Tir for resources and kills towards buffs.
  2. Activate Terror Swarm to apply Vulnerable and increase damage.
  3. Use Profane Sentinel to apply Vulnerable to enemies and deal some damage.
  4. You can spam or channel Infernal Breath to kill everything. The longer you hold it, the bigger the hit, but I've had the best results spamming.
  5. Dark Prison can be used to generate Fortify and reduce damage from ranged enemies.
  6. Spam Evade for mobility.

  • Prioritize getting all Legendary Nodes before all else. Example: Fathomless
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 25 before going higher unless you cannot equip the next Glyph yet.
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 50 before going higher on any.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why am I squishy?

A: Survivability is all about stacking multiple layers of damage mitigation and sustain. You want Maximum Life on every piece of gear because it prevents one shots and your Barrier from Earthen Bulwark scales with Maximum Life.
