You will become a Boulder blender and destroy everything you come close to. The gameplay with this build is very satisfying because you can charge through enemies, spamming Boulder as you run.

Important Notes

  • Only 70% Critical Strike Chance on gear is needed with The Basilisk and Splinter of Anguish. We're also using Locran's Talisman which reduces Critical Strike Chance by 50% and Splinter of Hellfire which reduces Critical Strike Chance by another 100%.
  • Tibault's Will and Ring of Starless Skies are ideal for managing resources.
  • Earthen Bulwark being triggered with Que Rune is important to activate Tibault's Will.

For General Pool unique items, you can upgrade a white Ancestral of the correct base type to Unique in the Horadric Cube. Chances depend on the number of unique items in that item type.

Stat Priorities

Offensive

  1. Critical Strike Chance (No more than 100%)
  2. Critical Strike Damage Multiplier (Main GA and Masterwork focus)
  3. Attack Speed (No more than 100%)
  4. Vulnerable Damage Multiplier (Masterwork upgrade at least one with GA)
  5. Weapon Damage (Only on weapons)
  6. Willpower (Always prioritize on armor)
  7. Elemental/All Damage Multiplier
  8. Skill Ranks

Defensive

  1. Maximum Life (You want this on all items unless you feel you can remove some and stay alive)
  2. Resistance (Get as much as you can without giving up Willpower or other important affixes)
  3. Armor (Be sure to have at least one affix on items minimum, but get as much as you can)

Utility

  1. Movement Speed (No more than 200%)
  2. Cooldown Reduction (Just enough to maintain your Ultimate100% of the time)

Important Notes

  • Earthen Bulwark is used automatically with Que Rune for Barrier, Fortify, Healing, Resolve Stacks, and Unstoppable which is necessary to trigger Tibault's Will.
  • Wolves are entirely passive for an Attack Speed buff.
  • Cyclone Armor is passive Resistances.

Skill Rotations

  1. Activate Lightning Storm to apply Vulnerable and help with Calm Before the Storm procs.
  2. Use and maintain Grizzly Rage consistently.
  3. Spam Boulder to kill everything.
  4. Debilitating Roar can be used regularly to lower enemy damage and increase Maximum Life.

  • Prioritize getting all Legendary Nodes before all else. Example: Survival Instincts
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 25 before going higher unless you cannot equip the next Glyph yet.
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 50 before going higher on any.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why am I squishy?

A: Survivability is all about stacking multiple layers of damage mitigation and sustain. You want Maximum Life on every piece of gear because it prevents one shots and your Barrier from Earthen Bulwark scales with Maximum Life. The build has great healing built in, so focus on reducing damage taken by stacking All Elemental Resistances and Armor. The Gems on jewelry are very high value to prevent the worst types of damage. Be sure to make sure you get Damage Reduction items and Aspects as recommended in the guide or alternatives listed below them.

Q: What are some ways I can improve my Spirit issues?

A: Energize & Gift of the Stag Spirit Boons | Spirit Regeneration, Resource Cost Reduction, Resource Generation, and Lucky Hit Chance for Spirit affixes | Tibault's Will & Ring of Starless Skies | Vulpine's Aspect & Balanced Aspect | And many more.
