Build Overview

Welcome to the Dread Claws Warlock Leveling Build Guide! The main idea is you want to buff Cascading Dread Dread Claws to the moon.

The Mastermind Shard gives a lot of extra damage if we can generate Shadowform, which you gain from Nether Step and Summon Laalish.

Profane Sentinel and Terror Swarm give godly single target damage.

Command Fallen is a an amazing Wrath generator and applies Hex from Blasphemous Fragment.

Overall this build has it all -> AOE, Single Target, Movement, Buffs & Debuffs.

With leveling I never worry about finding the right Legendary Aspects but if you find any of the ones listed above they should be helpful. Any Legendary Aspects that help with Toughness, Healing, Cooldown, Abyss or Demonology Skills are going to be great.

Leveling Path

Follow the leveling path in the Skill Tree above. Focus on putting points into Dread Claws as you wait for other things to unlock.

Go do your Warlock Class Quest as soon as it's available to unlock the Mastermind Shard so you can Summon Laalish.

Order of upgrading skills to 15 once you have all Skills and their Passives:

Dread Claws
Terror Swarm
Profane Sentinel
Command Fallen
Nether Step

Mercenaries

Subo is hard to beat since he gives you a Map Hack, Movement Speed and Vulnerability.

Aldkin is your Reinforcement because Fields of Languish gives you 20% Damage Reduction when standing in the purple cloud it creates. You have to level with him a bit to unlock this skill - until then use Haunt.
