Oversized Sidearm with extended-range, heavy-caliber rounds. Fires full auto with increased rate of fire. Deals increased precision damage to unshielded targets.

This sidearm essentially plays like a 200 RPM handcannon. Because of its archetype it boasts a time to kill of 0.60 seconds. It is important to note that Forerunner does use Special Ammo, so it is best paired with a weapon that uses primary ammo such as another sidearm. This way Forerunner gets all of the special ammo, Forerunner is best for shorter ranges, the energy sidearm plays for close ranges, and any mods or boosts to sidearms impacts both equipped weapons.
