Fires a wide horizontal spread when shot from the hip. Final blows with this weapon have a chance to generate Ionic Traces. Powerful foes and opposing Guardians always generate Ionic Traces.

Armor

Damaging targets with Chaos Reach extends its duration. Collecting Ionic Traces grants you energy for Chaos Reach. Sprinting while near max Bolt Charge will grant stacks over time.

Build Details

How It Works

TLDR: use tablet of ruin artifact, Delicate Tomb is a must, armor 2 & 4 set is huge

Breakdown:

-ionic traces have cooldowns from each source and can be triggered at the same time. more sources=more traces=more super=more damage=brain happy

  • 6 Ionic Trace Sources: Shock and Clear (armor), Electrostatic mind (aspect), elemental siphon (artifact), Spark of Ions & Discharge (fragments), Delicate Tomb (exotic fusion rifle)

Weapon Recommendations: (listed weapons are what i currently have)

  • if you don't have Delicate Tomb use cold heart or a jolting feedback or volt shot weapon
  • Gear Shift is another great damage buff as you are almost always amped

IMPORTANT: for the artifact pick TABLET OF RUIN

Must have:

  • Elemental Siphon (tier 1) - stacks (i think) with geomag for extra super on trace pick up
  • Dielectric (tier 1) - more bolt charge for heals (see defib blast), damage, extra heal
  • Limit Break (tier 3) - more super damage
  • Defibrillating Blast (tier 3) - makes bolt charge heal, great bc we have low sustain Suggested:
  • Flashover (tier 2) - makes amp and makes bolt charge deal more damage
  • Photonic Flare (tier 2) - more cc when with team
  • Gold from Lead (tier 2) - more special ammo
Gameplay Loop
  1. kill with fusion rifle

  2. pop super while amplified or wounded for damage buff (from artifact)

  3. repeat
