Build Details
TFS Episode 1:
I am sure there is some you tube video about this build but here is my version. I really like this one! It claps pretty hard tbh. Here is my tuned version of this build.
Super:
- Super is honestly flexible with this one. Song of Flame is my favorite though.
Abilities:
- Phoenix Dive: Honestly this ability is flexible but I use Phoenix dive for short cool down and on the move usage. I use melee regen mods on boots so using this when its up helps charge my melee.
- Arcane Needle: This is very strong and causes unravel. I use to proc Devour when needed too.
- Vortex Grenade: A very strong grenade that is buffed to weaken targets with FACET OF DOMINANCE. Same FACET also buffs your transcendence grenade. Good to through on bosses during DPS phase to get damage buff and those juicy yellow crits.
Aspects:
- Feed the Void: Grants devour on ability kill and refreshes on kill. Heals you and gives grenade energy.
- Lighting Surge: This counts as a powered melee which will create and spread poison from Necrotic Grips. You get an extra charge of this from using Arcane Needle. Finally it can give you AMPLIFIED if you get multi-kills with it.
Fragments:
- FACET OF GRACE: Gives extra prismatic energy on kinetic weapon kills with your weapon of sorrow.
- FACET OF BALANCE: Helps grenade and melee recharge.
- FACET OF DOMINANCE: Gives your vortex and transcendence grenade weaken for high health target dps. It also buffs arc grenade to allow jolt but you already get jolt from Lighting Surge.
- FACET OF PROTECTION: Adds survival.
- FACET OF SACRIFICE: Helps build darkness energy from abilities. You will use Lightning Surge and Vortex grenade a lot with this so this helps balance. This is your most likely flex FACET to switch out as you want as kinetic weapon will make plenty of prismatic energy on its own. I would switch this out with FACET OF DAWN for radiant buff to weapons of 25% on powered melee usage.
Armor Mods:
- Use kinetic siphon and double surge mods along with Time Dilation
- I use both heavy and special ammo finder to keep them full
- I built into melee regen with other mods as it spreads poison and lighting surge is fun.
- Generate orbs with kinetic siphon and Heavy Handed on gloves.
Weapons & Exotic:
- Exotic: Necrotic Grips= melee and weapons of sorrow damage spread poison. The poison from grips scales stronger over time unlike the exotic class item. However, this build will work fine with class item and with it you can add in things like Spirit of Inmost Light or Caliban. I do like the grips build better though, imo.
- TOP SLOT: A weapon of sorrow. Thorn, Osteo Striga, or Necrochasm. I don't have Necro but Thorn is pretty darn awesome in PVE tbh. Osteo kinda sux currently.
- Middle Slot: FLEXIBLE. I use Aberant Action with PUG/DEMO for ability regen and it hits like a truck. -Bottom Slot: FLEXIBLE. I like APEX for most things but anything will work really.
Basically, get an ability kill to start devour then mince red bars with Thorn to spread poison. As you get going use your Lighting Surge as much as you can on groups. Use your vortex grenade at will but especially on large targets due to weaken.
CHAMPS:
- Barrier: Use weapon or rely on unravel
- Unstop: Use weapon
- Overload: Use jolt from lighting surge (can use arc grenade if you prefer) or use THORN with current artifact.
