Death Throes Stacks: Landing a final blow with a weapon that matches your grenade’s elemental type grants a stack of Death Throes (up to 5 stacks). Each stack provides:
PVE: +40% → +100% grenade damage (from 1 to 5 stacks).

Grenade Regeneration: Death Throes also grants sustained grenade energy regeneration:

Why It Excels in “Edge of Fate” High-Damage Grenade Loop
In builds centered around Grenade use—especially Fusion or Strand grenades—Verity’s Brow makes you almost a grenade engine:
