USE WHATEVER WEAPONS YOU WANT I just put one some of the best, most META PvE Weapons in the game right now. A weapon that applies darkness debuffs would be more synergistic, but you frankly don't need it.

Just play the game Normally, while your MASSIVELY BUFFED Buddies do the heavy lifting, now that they count as Grenades. That's right, your grenade damage boost from having 200 Grenade Stat now applies to your Arc Soul and Hellion! ...And so does the added Jolt from Facet of Dominance, ...And the damage Boost from Shieldcrush, ...and so much more.
