1. Facet of Sacrifice

This Fragment will allow us to charge our darkness meter with grenade and melee kills when we have an Arc, Solar, or Void buff. Since we will be getting a lot of Arc Ability kills, we will get Amplified which is one of our Light Buffs required for the Fragment.

2. Facet of Balance

When we rapidly defeat enemies with light damage, we gain melee energy. When we rapidly defeat enemies with dark damage, we gain grenade energy. Our Lightning Surge counts as light damage so rapid kills with it will give melee energy, feeding back into itself.

3. Facet of Awakening

Rapidly defeating targets with non-kinetic damage, or super final blows, grants an elemental pickup of the matching damage type. When we get rapid kills with either our grenade or Lightning Surge, we will spawn Ionic Traces. Not only will Ionic Traces give us ability energy, it will also feed into Delicate Tomb to allow it to Jolt enemies more.

4. Facet of Protection

Will give damage resistance when we are surrounded by combatants. This effect is increased while Transcendent. This further helps our survivability since Lightning Surge requires us to get close to enemies to do damage.

5. Facet of Purpose

When we have Needlestorm equipped, this fragment will grant us *Woven Mail for 5 seconds when picking Orbs of Power. Aids in our survivability.

• Facet of Justice

While **Transcendent, ability final blows create explosions. We will be getting a lot of ability final blows, so with this fragment we can create a lot of explosions.

• Facet of Courage

Our Light Abilities deal more damage to targets afflicted with Darkness Debuffs. This can help take down tankier enemies with your lightning surge. You can easily debuff enemies with a weapon, with your Arcane Needle, or even with Coldsnap Grenades if you choose to swap out Storm Grenades.

• Facet of Dawn

This allows you to gain Radiant when hitting enemies with a powered melee attack. This can help you deal with Barrier Champions or just gives you more damage. Currently in "Episode: Echoes", the Radiant Orbs Artifact Perk renders this fragment less useful.

• Facet of Dominance

Allows our Arc Grenades to Jolt targets. Since we are usually running Storm Grenades this can be a good way of applying Jolt.

1. Head

Hands-On will give us Super Energy when getting melee kills. We are going to kill a lot of enemies with our Lightning Surge, which counts as a melee, so this mod helps us gain super fast which is always nice.

Heavy Ammo Finder and Heavy Ammo Scout are there to provide you and your team with heavy ammo bricks, so you can deal with champions easily and do high damage on bosses.

2. Arms

Try and get as many Heavy Handed mods as you can fit. These spawn orbs on powered melee kills which will help charge your super and give you Woven Mail. Heavy Handed has a built-in cooldown, where after a powered melee kill there is a duration where subsequent powered melee kills won't spawn orbs of power. The more Heavy Handed** mods, the smaller that cooldown. At 3, the cooldown is unnoticeable.

3. Chest

I recommend using resistance mods based on the enemies you are facing and the current burn modifier.

4. Legs

Run Scavenger mod(s) to your preference and needs. I recommend Arc Scavenger to give you ammo for your Delicate Tomb.

A Weapon Surge mod is also recommended to give you more damage on your weapons.

If you have room, Invigoration is very good as it reduces your melee cooldown when you pick up an Orb of Power. As we are going to be producing Orbs of Power from our Lightning Surge, this mod will feed back into our melee.

5. Class Item

Run Time Dilation(s) if you are using a decaying Charged with Light mod, like a Weapon Surge mod, to increase its uptime.

Outreach is a good mod to decrease your melee cooldown.

Special Finisher is useful if you find yourself or your teammates running out of special ammo.

1. Radiant Orbs

Gives us Radiant when picking up Orbs of Power. Very useful as we are producing and picking up Orbs of Power often. This will help for general increased damage and dealing with Barrier Champions

2. Galvanic Armor

Gives us extra incoming damage reduction when Amplified. SInce we are going to get Amplified easily by getting ability kills, this Perk will help with survivability.

3. Shieldcrush

Increase our Melee recharge and increase its damage when we have *Woven Mail. This perk also recharges our grenade faster and increases its damage when we are Amplified or Radiant. This is an overall net-buff to our ability-centered build. We will be Amplified, Radiant, and have *Woven Mail often, so the buffs to our Grenades and Melee will be present most of the time.

4. Transference

Increased grenade and melee damage while Transcedent. Weapon final blows while Transcendent will also refund light and dark energy after it ends. This perk just gives us more ability damage which is always a good thing.

• Honorable Mention

Expanding Abyss makes Nova Bomb: Cataclysm and any other void damage stronger. This build works the same, arguably better in some scenarios, if you choose to use Nova Bomb: Cataclysm instead of Needlestorm.
