Destiny 2 Titan Build"I am a god, you dull creature, and..." [bonk] "Puny god."
PvEGrenades stick to surfaces and chain Arc bolts to other mines.
Defeating a target with melee or a finisher grants escalating melee damage, which decays over time. Higher levels of Burning Fists grant increased weapon damage.

Build Details
Wormgod Caress is rather devastating. At 5 stacks = 400% melee damage and 35% damage for all your weapons and that is before you factor in melee and weapon stats.
And while Consecration did get a nerf in Edge of Fate, Wormgod's buff essentially cancelled it out.^^
Higher than Synthoceps for melee and the same as Hazardous Propulsion for weapon damage but on any weapon.
With the weaken and radiant from the Prismatic kit and surges, we can potentially get to over 200% damage on our weapons.^
Punching/glaiving adds individually to build stacks does take time, which is always an opportunity cost.
Building around that, the overall issue is, you might smash like the Hulk, but you have as many tricks as Batman. It has a bit of a learning curve. The pro is that, once you get used to it, this approach has tons of damage and survivability.
To fully get on board, you need to understand some of the nuances because there is a general loop, but many ways to adapt to different scenarios.
You Are Titan,..Use All the Melees Wormgod gets stacks on defeats with melee, glaive melee, or finishers. Crucially, it even gets stacks on uncharged melees. And with Knockout, we also get orbs.
So, you want to have your uncharged melee mapped to a different key because sometimes you don’t want to waste a full charged melee and need some quick damage resistance. Also, getting in a couple punches gives amplified for the speed boost and damage reduction. Edge of Fate update We now get heals and amplified with Glaive melee!!
When we don’t have transcendence up, we mainly add clear with glaive and uncharged melees for stacks. And we use consecration on a big group or tough target once we have stacks.
Line 'em Up If you only casually tested Wormgod with Consecration, you might think that it can only get one stack per consecration melee.
The issue is actually that building stacks has a split-second cooldown. So if you one-shot a whole group, you may get just one stack. This is more of an issue in even level content.
However, if you can get them in more of a line, you can get multiple stacks. Or you can try to aim and make sure you have red bars and yellow bars all targeted. i.e. the first wave may take out red bars and the second the yellow bar.
Stacks I also don't worry too much about having 5 stacks all the time. it is often overkill.
Consider that at just 3 stacks, you have the same melee bonus as Synthoceps and an equivalent of a 4x weapon surge that stacks with weapon surges.
I only worry about getting full stacks versus a real boss encounter.
^ radiant x 1.2 = 120% weaken x 1.15 =138% wormgod x 1.35 = 186% 2x surges x 1.17 = 218%
^^ I didn't test this with precision, but I did do a consecration on Carl pre EoF and post both with 5 Wormgod's stacks and both did approximately half of his health.
In-Depth Explanation
The simple loop is
- Stab stab for stacks
- Throw all your other tools at tougher targets or big groups
