How It Works

Arc Titan have taken over this season as one of the best builds. That’s all because of 2 things.

First, Titan’s got the new aspect Storm’s keep to place a barricade down that instantly gives you 4 stacks of Bolt charge and continuously grants more stacks every 0.6 seconds. This also allows you to discharge your bolt charge with weapon damage, making really strong for DPS phases and a safe option to deal damage from range.

The Second reason it’s taken over is the Artifact perk Flashover. This season, Bolt Charge will be dealing 2.5 times more damage when you have this perk selected.

Arc Titan makes it incredibly easy to gain and release bolt charge. Because Bolt Charge is being boosted, this season Arc Titan will dominate. But as I mentioned, this build just got even stronger in Act 2. That’s because we got 3 artifact perks that boost it even more.

First we have Beam Medic. This allows you to get rapid trace rifle kills to gain a burst of health. We’ll touch on why this is important in a minute.

Next we have Elemental Siphon. Now 3 kills with a super matching weapon creates an elemental pick up, in our case that will be ionic traces.

Finally we have Limit break. Now casting your super while you have an elemental buff matching your super will increase your super damage.

Gameplay Loop

Pretty much just spam your abilities. You’ll create a ton of ionic traces from killing with bolt charge, Cold heart, and killing with arc weapon. So all of these will give back a ton of ability energy and stacks of bolt charge. Any time you have a miniboss or champion, pop that barricade and melt with bolt charge. Remember, killing with trace rifles and discharging bolt charge will heal you. So whenever you have down time in between your abilities, use that cold heart to heal and generate even more ionic traces.

If you’re on Curiass, then melee kills will also help you rapidly get back your super to be able to constantly spam it on minibosses.
