Destiny 2 Titan BuildSolar Hallowfire
PvEDual barrels split into Stasis and Solar damage. Strong against [Disruption] Overload and [Stagger] Unstoppable Champions.
Solar final blows while standing in a Sunspot create a Sunspot. Greatly improves recharge rate of your melee and grenade while your Solar Super is charged. Provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
Build Details
This build revolves around dealing with each type of Champion, and thus requires a weapon that benefits from the Artifact Mods. As of Final Shape/Echoes, Overload HC works, but down the line, it's reccomended to keep this in mind when choosing your primary weapon. What is more than reccomended though is the fact the weapon must run Incandescent.
This is because of Sol Invictus, which grants Restoration upon entering a sunspot, as well as a buff to ability recharge rate. This recharge rate stacks with Hallowfire Heart, our exotic of choice for this build. The exotic also allows us to spread Scorch much easier, as kills while in a sunspot make more sunspots.
Defeating scorched targets grants melee energy due to our fragments, which ties into the next aspect - Consecration. This allows us to deal with a lot of ads AND also stuns Unstoppable Champs at the same time, allowing for a lot of flexibility. If you get enough enemies in the blast, it can regenerate Consecration almost immediately, meaning you get almost as much uptime with it as a Prismatic build, with the added benefit of maintaining your Radiant and Restoration.
Conditional Finality is highly reccomended, because we don't want our only Unstoppable stun being tied to our abilities. Both shots have some way with dealing with one - first shot freezes and subsequently shatters, and the second ignites. This gives you plenty of flexibility when it comes to dealing with a champ.
I am unsure if this is a bug, but CF can also get Anti Barrier Rounds courtesy of Radiant, something that did not happen before. This means that it can deal with two champion types at once - Barrier and Unstoppable.
This Barrier stunning can be extended to your heavy weapon. Why is Code Duello there as opposed to a better damage rocket? That's because it has Lasting Impression. This allows your rocket to cling to an enemy first, then explode for more damage and blast radius after a few seconds. This allows you to distance yourself from the blast - as everything you're doing is within melee range anyways.
Hammers got a 25% damage buff in Act 2 of Echoes, but isn't particularly strong enough for you to rely on for boss damage. Thankfully, the build revolves around holding onto your super unless you absolutely need it to maximize your neutral game.
Use your primary to spread Scorch and generate sunspots, or open up with Consecration if it's safe.
Enter said sunspot to obtain Restoration. If you used Consecration, you should also have Radiant. If not, use Consecration to generate Radiance.
Use any subsequent ability or weapon kills to extend the timer for your buffs as you see fit.
CHAMPIONS:
Barriers can be destroyed by your heavy weapon or CF, but it may be better to destroy the Champion before they protect themselves.
Overloads are the most hit or miss depending on the season, check your Artifact to see what you can do to stun them. These require the most strategy since they tend to move around a lot more.
Unstoppable Champs require no thoughts whatsoever. Consecrate them or shotgun them, no in between. Highest risk to reward ratio of the three.
