Build Details
Exotic Class Item roll: Spirit of Foetracer + Cyrtarachne The exact roll is not required! Watch the In-Depth Explanation section for more details.
If you don't have access to exotic class item or the rolls that I've mentioned in the video. Foetracer exotic helmet will do just fine, losing 40% DR is pain but the DR from Facet of Protection, Transcendence and Winter's Shroud still provides a substantial amount of DR that you can comfortably stay alive. (Go to In-depth Explanation section to know more about this part)
This build is my version of the ultimate prismatic hunter build (not including combination blow ofc), it uses nearly all the aspect that you could think of while playing prismatic hunter, and it's super strong if you understand how it works. It has a lot of DR buffs to keep you alive even in GM content, with Devour to get a lot of health and grenade energy to keep the loop going for near infinite Woven Mail uptime. All the abilities will help you control a bunch of adds very quickly, and gives x4 surges to your weapons with Foetracer. This build doesn't have any filler abilities because all of them contribute to a single goal: Making you unkillable.
Lost Signal is the most important weapon in this build, it's such an underrated weapon that I really want to show you guys how powerful it actually is. This weapon can fill up an entire dark transcendence bar in a single shot in less than 7s. The lack of dark transcendence energy in a lot of prismatic build can all be solved with this weapon. It might loss the battle to The Call in terms of damage, but getting a lot of dark energy for transcendence is way more important in this build, and I'll tell you why very soon.
Buried Bloodline is another really important weapon in this build. You are able to get devour by just killing 4 red bar or 1 orange bar or higher tier enemy is really overpower but it is how this build is able to have such high sustain even in solo GM. Unlike most builds, this build utilize devour to its maximum potential, spamming more duskfield or transcendence grenade not only increase the crowd control capability, it also grants Woven Mail at the same time, so you are stunning enemies while you are being unkillable. Also, the healing from devour is also another reason why this build is able to survive even in solo GM while I'm inside a large group of enemies.
The main reason why I choose these 2 weapons are very simple, spam more greande, devour with demolitionlists on lost signal can generate a lot of grenade energy with each kill, but lost signal itself lacks a lot of damage, this is where foetracer comes in, with x4 surges by simply throwing duskfield or transcendence grenade to orange bar enemy, it becomes an add clear machine, on top of that, snare bomb's weaken and radiant effect with Facet of Dawn further boost the damage of lost signal, making it even stronger. Also, as snare bomb and duskfield does DOT damage that apply debuffs on enemy, they generate a lot of transcendence energy if you can trap at least 2 enemies inside of its field, paired with Lost Signal's insane ability to generate dark energy without using the weapon, and buried bloodline with snare bomb to get light energy, transcendence downtime is less than 8s if you play your abilities right, which plays a crucial role in this build as well. Transcendence will greatly reduce grenade and melee cooldown, so spamming both transcendence grenade and snare bomb means you'll have 40% DR with Woven Mail, Radiant for 25% damage increase, 15% weaken effect on enemy, and permanent x4 surges to stasis and void weapons. Also, transcendence grenade 1st half and duskfield apply slow or even freeze enemies, snare bomb will disorient enemies, making them unable to hit you, which makes this build have decent crowd control capabilities and you can slowly kill them without a sweat, or use something like edge transit to burst them down with: 25% radiant buff, 15% weaken debuff on them, x4 surges for 25% dmg bonus and BnS perk for 30% bonus damage for a total of 95% increased damage with each Edge Transit shot, and you achieve this result by simply throwing a snare bomb and do some BnS stuff.
For the power weapon, I'll only recommend any void and stasis weapons because they benefit from foetracer's x4 surges to make them become very strong. Commemoration is a very good entry point to test out this build if you don't feel comfortable with double special yet, or just don't like double special in general, it will provide a solid ground to test because heavy machine gun provides very good ammo economy in a double special build. If you are used to double special, I fully recommend Edge Transit as your main power weapon of choice, as add clear is not a huge problem for this build because all of your ability spamming and some decent damage coming from lost signal and buried bloodline with foetracer's x4 surges. So, edge transit will provide one of the highest amount of burst damage to a single enemy which is what this build is lacking the most, and make this build become very deadly. The only drawback of using edge transit is the double special economy and you need to be very careful about how you use edge transit, but I'm sure if you are comfortable with double special, it shouldn't be a huge problem when you do understand how ammo brick works, if not, you should've learnt it by now if you are runnning double special :)
