Destiny 2 Hunter BuildUltimate Prismatic Hunter build

It's actually very manageable even in a solo environment with edge transit. This build generates a lot of orbs that you can constantly use special finisher to get ammo if you want. However, if you are used to double special, it's really not too bad most of the time even without special finisher.

If you watched the video, I recommend Commemoration if you are not used to double special yet to try this build out, as Commemoration will provide a much better ammo economy in every activity, so you can test this build better.

I've shown some exotic class item perk combination without Foetracer in the video, here's what I can tell you about what you gained and loss with them.

Inmost+Cyrtarachne: You lose Foetracer's x4 surges to burst down tanky enemies, but you are going to have infinite Woven Mail and Winter's Shroud 50% DR uptime. It sounds not too bad especially when you are getting more DR buff longer, but the problem that I have for this build is that, running Cyrtarachne alone already has a very high uptime on these 2 things with armor mods and weapons that makes this build has near infinite ability spamming, so Inmost light's only insures that 10~15% of the time that you don't have them. However, missing that x4 surges will make lost signal and buried bloodline perform way worse, especially with how bad lost signal's initial damage, ammo economy will be a little bit streesed as you need to use more ammo to kill a tanky enemy. So, I think it's not a good trade.

Renewel+Cyrtarachne: Lose x4 surges. But you gained frost armor when standing inside duskfield which helps getting a lot more DR buff. However, you need to stand in the duskfield to get frost armor to stack up to x5, and the enemies attack you also need to stand inside of the duskfield to get that extra damage resist when they attack you for that staggering 95% DR with every single DR buff stacked together. (Math: 1- (0.6 x 0.68 x 0.775 x 0.5 x 0.5) = 0.055 = 94.5%) But here's the problem though, transcendence grenade can't benefit from this perk, and this build concentrates on ability spamming for woven mail and foetracer uptime, which means you wants to get in transcendence as fast as possible and stay in there for as long as possible. So, if you are only managing to get that x5 frost armor and that 50% DR when enemies inside attack you for that 10~15s before transcendence, I'll happily take a x4 surges to kill tanky enemies that can also stack with transcendence giving more damage.

Galanor+Cyrtarachne: Lose x4 surge as usual. But you'll have lower cooldown on tether to control a large group of enemies very often. This is the one that works kinda great on theory (because I don't have this roll), with lower tether cooldown and this build's ability to generate orbs and get super energy very quickly. You can mass spamming tether for very good crowd control or just have tether in a damage check, especially in Master dungeon or raids where it matters the most. This one is actually pretty decent if you are able to get this roll if you don't have the roll that I have in this build. However, I'll still want to use the Foetracer roll any other day because that x4 surges does come up a lot to help address the ammo economy that this build already has by running double special.

I'll say this for the perk that doesn't have Cyrtarachne so I don't have to repeat myself and it's also very important to tell you guys. Missing out Cyrtarachne will force this build to take a more passive approach rather than what I aimed for the initial build, which is going into crowd of enemies and spam abilities that way. Even though after you have stacked all the DR buffs together, you are only missing out on ~9% DR buff (76.2% DR). Cyrtarachne is so good when you not in the loop yet before all your DR buffs takes shapes because you don't have winter's shroud and Facet of Protection when you are still charging in to spam abilities, which makes you very vulnerable at the start of the encounter. So, you'll need to be more careful when you getting into a crowd of enemies and become absolute menace to all the adds around you. But, by losing infinite 40% DR, you'll (probably) get some aggresive exotic class item perk that I'll be mentioning later. Also, the crowd control capability by running duskfield and snare bomb will help out a lot for you to survive without Woven Mail, but you need to throw them more carefully.

Foetracer+Gyrfalcon: Lose 40% DR with Woven Mail. But you gained volatile rounds with void weapons after invis runs out. Sounds like a really good perk on paper for better add clear, it should be very good with x4 surges. However, losing out on that 40% DR and make the best out of volatile rounds will probably force you into using Commemoration to get the max effect out of Gyrfalcon. As Buried Bloodline only spreads volatile rounds to a single target, unlike other rocket sidearm that deals a little bit of explosion damage, which makes Gyrfalcon on buried bloodline become very limited.

Foetracer+Synthoceps: Lose 40% DR with Woven Mail. Gained increased snare bomb damage when you are surrounded, actually pretty decent if you are able to get this roll, as it kind of become a mini bomb that deals very good damage, even the DOT damage benefits from it as well.

(I split them because both losing cyrtarachne and foetracer will exceed the character limit of a single in-depth explanation section, that's kinda funny tbh hahahaha)
