Phoenix Dive is used to give you immediate health in a pinch and it procs Hellion which will kill nearby red bar enemies and feed into Devour

Arcane Needle severs targets to give them less damage output and helps charge darkness meter for Transcendence

Storm Grenade is required to proc Getaway Artist and it simultaneously procs bleak watcher

Facet of Protection gives damage resistance when surrounded and therefore offers passive survivability

Facet of Purpose as mentioned earlier gives us Woven mail upon orb pickup which greatly increases survivability

Facet of Hope gives us our class ability back faster which is helpful to heal and proc more hellion turrets

Facet of balance allows us to spam more abilities by using them more

Facet of Honor helps us build our transcendence meter faster

Elemental Siphon allows you to create more tangles if you get kills with a strand weapon liek The Call for example

Threaded blast will allow you to shoot the tangles created primarily by arcane needle and they will explode similar to a warmind cell

Galvanic armor will proc every time you eat your grenade because Getaway artist gives instant amplified after consuming grenade

Radiant Orbs will give you constant radiant which will both increase your weapon damage and Proc Facet of Hope which will increase you class ability re-charge rate

Void Hegemony will allow ever kill you get with Buried Bloodline after proc'ing Devour to give you an overshield

Expanding Abyss Will allow your Buried Bloodline and Void heavy weapons to do even more damage as long as you proc Devour on Buried Bloodline first and then debuff the enemy with it before swapping to your power weapon

Shield Crush will increase both the melee and grenade regeneration for this build
