Strengths and Weaknesses

strengths

  • Can shield 99% percent of the enemies.
  • Can clear all number of enemies.
  • Unlimited restoration.
  • Can deal with all champions.
  • Doesn't need any exotic.
  • Insane super regeneration.
  • Doesn't require much experience in the game.
  • Makes all GMS easy.

weaknesses

  • Exploding Shanks.
  • Doesn't work on Tormentor from Liminality. (Still hunt is better there)
  • You need the sword with the enhanced trait.
  • The only thing that can stop you is a Tormentor or Stasis Freeze.

Build Details

How It Works

The most important item in this build is Death's Razor with [Energy Transfer] which not many have crafted. You can get the old solar version Eternity's Edge on Xur by opening engrams or wait that he sells it again.

Other than the subclass aspects, fragments and the sword, everything else can be changed

Some info: Sword Guard grants roughly 86.5% Damage Resist. Energy Transfer is said to grant a fixed amount of energy but its based on damage received the minimum being 1% for any blocked damage and 0.5% for hits from the back

Dynamo and Distribution these armor mods should give 10-12% super energy when you phoenix dive near enemies (Which is the main action in this build) and if enough enemies are present it should give super from 0-100% in less than 30 seconds.


Exotic choices

This build doesn't require any exotic, so you're free to use whatever you like or feel like you need. My favorites exotics to pair with this are: Dawn Chorus for easier scorch kills and more melee energy. Eye of Another World for passive ability regeneration. Aeon Soul(Sect of Vigor) for team support and extra damage resist in case your team is dying. Vesper of Radius is good too... (but I don't like it)

Weapon choices: Multimach [Attrition Orbs]+[Kinetic Tremors] Mainly because of Barrier Champions and it's a great ad clear and orb generation weapon (since you don't have siphons). Divinity just to deal with Overload Champions and give a debuff on Minibosses/Bosses enemies. *Still Hunt is great for bosses such as tormentors.

Gameplay Loop
  1. Consume a grenade
  2. Incinerator Snap or Phoenix Dive
  3. Shield with the sword (take damage intentionally)
  4. Phoenix Dive to get restoration and super energy.
