Sustained damage with this weapon envelops the target in a field that weakens and stuns them. Strong against [Disruption] Overload Champions.

Despite no longer dealing the highest percentage weaken in the game, at a 15% weaken debuff, Divinity is a top PvE option for boss damage because of its weaken effect and expanding a target's crit spot immensely. This allows teammates to utilize high DPS precision damage options such as linear fusion rifles and sniper rifles without having to worry about missing precision shots. When using Divinity it is recommended to tap fire the weapon to conserve ammo as the effect of the weaken and enlarged crit spot will still be present. This also allows the user to use grenades or a super quickly and the effects will remain active due to the short animation times depending on the super used. This weapon also has access to Overload Rounds making it a good weapon for Nightfalls as well.
