Build Details
Basic knowledge:
Nullify: Keeps you from rotting on the ground (Heal Clip & incandescent)
Witherhoard: Gives you transcendence and is easy passive damage.
Edge Transit: Your DPS weapon. Don't use on anything but the boss during encounters. (Envious Assassin & Bait and Switch)
Smoke bomb: Blinds/weakens targets and extends the timer on HOIL, giving you grenades faster. Killing targets effected by smoke bomb grants a void overshield. (15% + 25% extra damage for DPS through weaken and radiant)
Duskfield: Freezes targets and cures you on shatter kills.
Threaded Specter: Takes the heat off of you and can also be used as another damage source for addclear.
Winters Shroud: Slows nearby targets and grants 50% DR for 4 seconds on dodge, slow from any source increases class ability regen.
Hailfire Spike: Add clear and crowd control monster, paired with HOIL and smoke bomb you are able to pump these out once every 3 seconds. Extra source of passive damage for DPS. Ignitions and shatter kills cure you
Orbs of power: grants health, restoration, and radiant on pickup.
Anti-barrier Pulse: allows you to shoot through those annoying ass shields. . . .
Dungeon Tips:
First boss: Try to kill a majority of the adds before dps. If you can't, make sure to pop your specter and use your grenades and melees on them. DPS should look like this:
Pop transcendence -> Smoke -> Grenade -> Witherhoard -> Damage starts -> Golden Gun (hold down shoot button) -> Primary -> 5 Edge Transit shots -> Witherhoard -> Smoke -> Grenade -> 5x Edge transit -> Witherhoard -> Smoke -> Grenade -> 5x Edge transit repeat until damage ends.
You can use this rotation for every boss in the dungeon and when done correctly can do a lot of damage while keeping woven mail up the whole time. The first boss is the only one you'll want to save transcendence for as the time limit isn't flexible, other bosses you can spam it as much as you want, just make sure you get it back before DPS!
(Should take 3 phases)
Second boss: I recommend starting from the back left torch for damage and going counter clockwise, enemies are easy to predict and to deal with. Only really have to care about adds on the second torch. When you're on the second torch, throw a smoke and shoot a witherhoard at your feet and try to kill the adds before using your heavy, don't want anyone walking in front of you while you're spamming a GL. Damage doesn't start again until you stand on the torch, so take that time to kill adds. Leave adds on the 3rd torch alone for restoration later. You'll run out of heavy ammo by the time you get to the 3rd torch, try your best to get transcendence back and just spam those abilities and witherhoard until you get your golden gun back. If you do the rotation properly you should be able to get off 2 golden guns and 2 (or even 3) transcendence pops per damage phase.
(Should take 3 phases)
Final boss: Really just focus on the wizards, eyes, and blights on the ground, those are the only things that can kill you. If you use your abilities + witherhoard where the psions spawn they can't really do anything to you. Smoke bomb makes the melee fucker just nonexistent. Hit him with it about halfway through the timer and he'll sit still blinded. Smoke also transfers the debuff to him. Focus on the psions before damage, a grenade and a smoke usually kills them all. Fire a witherhoard shot at them too if you need to. The eyes proc heal clip so make sure to take advantage of that during the last 3 platforms, and of course spam those grenades. Ignitions from grenades kill most of the eyes so you can focus on rotations when you're at the 3 platforms at the end of a phase. You should be able to get out 2 transcendence pops during those 3 platforms! Final stand is a pushover.
(Should take 2 phases)
one last thing I think you should try the old build that I updated in the exodus crash GM solo, super good there too
USE YOUR FUCKING TRANSCENDENCE CROSS
Heart of inmost light and cyrtarachne class item
hey you've seen this one before... but I tweaked it
This build is about transcendence and crowd control. Your enemies can't kill you if they can't see or are frozen or are distracted or if you out heal everything they do to you.
Takes advantage of Radiant, Woven Mail, Weaken, Void Overshield, Freeze, Slow, and Restoration
Gameplay loop for general play:
Witherhoard -> Melee -> Grenade -> Dodge -> Melee -> Witherhoard -> Primary -> Transcend
Use witherhoard and nullify mixed in with your abilities to take out adds. You will get plenty of special ammo so don't be shy with the witherhoard usage
Pick up orbs to gain restoration and radiant
Kill adds affected by your smoke to gain void overshield
Use threaded specter as either a bomb to take out adds or as a distraction when you're in a pickle
Kills with shatter or ignitions from your grenades cure you. (yes that includes duskfield)
Gameplay loop for boss dps: Pop transcendence -> Smoke -> Grenade -> Witherhoard -> Damage starts -> Golden Gun (hold down shoot button) -> Primary -> 5 edge transit shots -> Witherhoard -> Smoke -> Grenade -> 5x Edge transit -> Witherhoard -> Smoke -> Grenade -> 5x Edge transit repeat until damage ends
ACTUALLY USE EDGE TRANSIT THIS TIME (Envious B&S)
I ran a solo warlords ruin with this build and it took me 51 minutes from start to finish, the only danger I faced was platforming lol.
