Destiny 2 Hunter BuildJolting Finisher
PvEWhen taking Arc Damage, this weapon becomes more powerful and resists incoming Arc Damage. Kills extend the time in this overcharged state.
Activating Ascension or Tempest Strike throws bouncing explosives at nearby targets that jolt and damage them. Jolting nearby targets grants you damage resistance.

Build Details
This episode has some nice finisher mods. We pair these with the underused Prismatic fragment that lets you jolt on finish. With our exotic of choice Gifted Conviction, we can keep Resist x4 up, which is a 50% damage resist. Because our finishers are so potent, every finisher makes new enemies finishable, and so on, letting us chain finishers and jolts. While finishing, we have a 200 HP overshield, which makes us literally immortal. Riskrunner provides us with even more resist against arc damage, and its high RPM lets us easily blind enemies and make them finishable, if its still needed.
Keep this in mind: If there are no enemies around, you're safe. If there are many enemies around, you're supersafe! But if there are only a few (strong) enemies around, you're in danger.
