This build is superfun! It relies on the fact that sword perks proc with ascension. This way you can get both jolting and volatile explosions, very potent! I have been trying many different builds since TFS, but I always come back to this one. It's amazing at low-mid tier content and beats any teammate in kill count. It even does a good job at hard content, like GM's.
1) (Optional) If no dodge, melee an enemy -> combination blow refunds dodge 2) Dodge near enemy -> procs multi-dodge and reaper + picks up orbs nearby and get hp and woven mail or frost armor 3) (Optional) Multi-kill with buried bloodline -> procs devour and orb from reaper 4) Equip sword 5) (Repeatedly) Throw your grenade and kill -> procs volatile rounds and cure 6) (Repeatedly) Activate ascension, jolt and kill -> procs amplified and void overshield from repulsar brace + get health back from vanguard vindication (and devour) + get ammo back from blade stamina 7) (Optional) Cast heavy sword projectile at beefy enemies
