How It Works

Check DIM link for extra style point. Might be the most important part.

If taking heavy damage, switch to sword and block. You are invincible. Take a drink, resurrect allies, etc. Grapple into enemies and shotgun down yellow bars. Make sure you know how to use the wave frame sword as it is an additional lunge that keeps you on target. Using sword often will make sure that your grapple is just about always available. Grappling to a thrown tangle is a great way to move through levels and engage more distant enemies. Scatter signal in this setup is optional, but it has been what works best for me. I had used an SMG with threadlings before moving to fusion. Your choice for this slot, but the other two slots are essential. Super is up often, so no need to save it. Flechette is a great way to start a fight, but I sometimes forget I have it. It makes a big difference though!

Gameplay Loop

Stay in their face. You should be engaging at all times once you have banner up. Grapple and wave frame sword make you fast, and you are invincible when you block. Lord of Wolves is reloading as you use sword. Swap over to melt what needs melting. A hit from scatter signal sends threadlings everywhere. Great pairing with flechette for engaging. Then grapple in with shotty, kill whatever. Switch to sword and heavy/light attack into waves of enemies and yellow bars. Block earlier than you think when taking heavy damage. You should have pretty quick charge rate with the mod setup. The kickstart might look odd, but after testing I really swear by this setup.
