Build Details
Despite being a standard Osmiomancy-Verglas build, I believe I have discovered 2 unique interactions with weapons and their perks, leading to a mastery of an already great build.
Wave frame grenade launchers not only shatter stasis crystals with efficiency, but also refund Verglas' crystal arrows when Whisper of Shards gets a kill. This works best either with a auto-loading GL or even better, an envious assassin GL, in which the stasis crystal kills will overflow the GL.
Any Demolitionist rocket can be reloaded by hitting a boss tier enemy directly with a cold snap grenade. The grenade will be fully refunded if done correctly.
Note: Fragments Bonds, Shards, and Fissures are irreplaceable, but Rime can be replaced by Chill or Chains.
Gameplay loop is simple, create stasis crystals, shatter them with the wave frame and repeat for red bars. For bosses, the demolitionist rocket and constant freeze will get the job done.
This build worked best in Expert Onslaught, but does fine in Nightfalls too. (Keep in mind that Coldsnap grenades will slow on hit and freeze right after, countering both Overload and Unstoppable champions)
Yes, Coldsnap shatters will trigger firepower.
