Final blows with this weapon grant Stasis arrows. Your next hip-fire shot will fire all of them in a single volley.

This bow finds its value in its utility rather than its ability to kill enemies. To utilize the bow build up stacks of Hail Barrage to store a freezing volley of up to 5 arrows. The amount of stacks built will increase the arrows in the volley To shoot the volley fire the bow from the hip, and enemies hit by the volley will be frozen. The bow synergizes very well with all of the stasis subclasses as it can activate Fragments and Aspects on freeze and shatters. There are far better options for dealing damage and killing enemies, but the bow can essentially activate Stasis subclass benefits on demand and lock down Champions and groups of enemies with freezing. Because of this treat this weapon almost as a support weapon in group activities in which the use is responsible for freezing and locking down enemies, while teammates kill them. It can even be used defensively by creating cover and getting damage resistance with Whisper of Chains. This weapon unfortunately does not freeze in PvP, making it a regular bow that slows targets on a kill in the worst archetype of bows for PvP.
