Your Duskfield grenades have a much larger effect radius. Allies inside the Duskfield gain Frost Armor and targets inside the area deal reduced damage.
Build Details
General Concepts: With the changes to Winters's shroud you can get your class about back nearly immediately by killing frozen targets when coupled with Whisper of Refraction. This means more melee and more grenades to keep the loop going. Your frost armor is permanent because everything is frozen and dropping shards which also heal you.
Weapons: The weapons are mostly subjective. You will benefit from headstone but the rest is activity dependent. Buried Bloodline is nice to have for devour which provides healing on kill and a large chunk of grenade energy as well.
Notes: This build is capable of GM levels but will take some practice with the loop since it has very little burst healing if you do not have devour active. I have used it in every activity this season. It can be modified into a strong DPS build if using Whisper of Impetus if needed.
The boots can be rearranged if you want surges for damage but I would suggest taking off grenade kick-start if you plan to do so because throwing a grenade will remove all of your stacks.
Basic Loop:
- Throw grenade at enemies to slow/freeze and reduce their damage with Renewal Grasp
- Melee as you run into the enemies to kill and spawn shards for faster frost armor gain
- Dodge to recover melee and freeze any enemies still alive after the shatter from the melee
- Shoot or melee again depending on abilities to recover dodge and grenade
- Repeat
