Okay my support chads, allow me to introduce the ultimate support build, Home (cus thats where you want to go when shit gets tough). Meant for GMs and higher end content. When you use this, your only job is to protect your friends. Starting with the subclass, Touch of flame buffs your healing turret and Hellion gives you access to ignitions, but also serves a much greater purpose that I will explain later. Phoenix dive is the fastest way to get your hellion and gives cure. the Song of Flame is way to output high damage and give ability energy and DR to allies. Fragments are just as critical. Torches gives radiant and anti-barrier by extention. Benevolence keeps high uptime on all abilities. Singeing ensures 100% uptime on Hellion. The last fragment isn't as important, but I chose Ashes for faster ignition time. Moving on to weapons. The Navigator provides easy access to woven mail, which is your DR. Try to have it active on at least one person at all times. It has a 2 second cooldown when applying woven mail, so keep that in mind. Additonally, It can sever. Everyone says suspend is better until they are up against a boss tier enemy and their CC ceases to function. If your up against a hard hitting boss, sometimes its better to prioritize severing over giving woven mail. The next tool of support is No Hesitations. The way the weapon works is as follows: You build up a meter by dealing damage with the weapon or abilities. At any point, if the meter has energy, you can hipfire at allies to shoot tracking, healing bullets at them. Hitting them with 8 bullets will proc restorartion x1 and give a 10% dmg buff that stacks with every other buff. One of the downside of the gun is that you are required to stop healing your allies to refill the meter, but that's where Hellion comes in. Since it's an ability, any damage that Hellion causes will provide the gun energy, giving you an endless amount of energy as long Hellion is up. One of the big downsides of cure is that the buff has an internal cooldown. If you get hit by two sources of cure, you will only be heal by one of the sources. The healing bullets do not have that problem, and with Restoration x2 that comes from your turret, You will be outputting more healing than a well of radiance and give more DR. You also generate an Orb if you heal wounded allies at that allies location. You are literallly giving them super and more (Depending on your allies mods) just by healing them. And with the steady production of orbs, Special ammo finisher will ensure that your Navigator will have ammo for any encounter. Your rocket side arm buddies will also enjoy the high up time of their power house of a special weapon. The heavy weapon you want will largely depend on what your doing. If you want Ad clear, machine guns are pretty good. you want burst damage? Grenade launchers might be the play. Want good total damage for raid dps? A rocket or linear will put out decent damage.
- Throw grenade near teammate
- Phoenix dive for hellion
- Alternate between using your navigator and Primary to give DR and heal.
- Repeat
