Build Details

How It Works

This is a high power level content glaive build, that actually glaive melees!

The big problem, when trying to glaive melee, is their in-ability to create orbs. Sure, the ammo consuming shooting attack can create orbs with a siphon mod, but glaive's melee attack won't; even with an equipped kinetic siphon mod, heavy handed mod and/or procced Knockout aspect. The glaive melee counts as a separate kinetic primary weapon, but can't benefit from weapon surges or knockout's damage buff to normal and powered melee. But it can progress and proc ammo finder mods(!), so you can continue to melee to spawn extra ammo! Glaive melee also shares normal melee's damage bonus to frozen targets of +120% !

The reworked Mask of the Quiet One solves the problem of missing orbs, that could sustain you in melee. It adds 5% ability with a 1 sec cooldown when you take damage. Way better, scoring a triple multi-kill will proc Devour for 6 sec, which can be refreshed with further kills. While devour is active, kills will restore some grenade energy and a good chunk of life.

With the mask you don't need orbs to stay alive in melee, and with a glaive, you are in the perfect spot to get ability energy back by tanking hits.
