Destiny 2 Titan BuildConsecration META build

To increase damage of the consecrations we are going to be using: (FYI There are going to be overlaps on things that do both)

1- knockout (increases melee range and damage, heals and makes you amplified) 2- Facet of courage (light class abilities do instead damage to targets afflicted with darkness debuffs) 3- Spirit of Synthoceps (improves melee damage when surrounded) 4- Facet of ruin (increases solar ignition AOE which hits more targets meaning more damage dealt per slam) 5- Radiant orbs (picking up orb gives radiant) 6- Shieldcrush ( While you have frost armour your melee recharges faster and deals increased damage) 7- Solar fulmination (ignitions do increased damage)

For Ability Regeneration: (A decimal point means working together to proc)

1- Facet of purpose (orbs give frost armour ) 1.1- Radiant orbs/knockout (gives orbs and makes you amplified) 1.2- Shieldcrush ( While you have frost armour your melee recharges faster and deals increased damage. While radiant or amplified your grenade recharges faster and deals increased damage.)

2- Spirit of inmost light (using an ability empowers the other two granting them energy regen) 3- Invigoration(Picking up orb gives reduced melee cooldown) 4- Innervation (Picking up orb gives reduced grenade cooldown) 5- Bomber (Reduces grenade cooldown when using class ability) 6- Outreach (Reduces melee cooldown when using class ability) 7- Momentum transfer (Causing damage with a grenade reduces your melee cooldown) 8- Impact induction (Causing damage with a melee reduces your grenade cooldown)

Getting Transcendent makes you a god on the battlefield so you want it up all the time. Bellow is what generates it:

1- Radiant orbs/knockout (picking up orb gives radiant and defeating targets with melee attacks make you amplified) 1.5- Facet of sacrifice (having a light buff gives ability final blows bonus darkness transcendence) 2- Consecration (does so much damage that your light bar will be full all of the time) 3- Risk runner (If you messed up and missed your melee and need light energy. While superconductor is on it is very effective at building up your bar ) 4- Lost signal (is the BEST darkness bar building gun in the game next to none. A single shot into a crowd gives a full darkness bar) 5- Glacial Quake (Amazing ult that will fill darkness bar instantly) 6- Shackle Grenade (may not give a lot of darkness but you will be using it a lot!)

Part of being a titan is being a tank. Dying sucks and melee is very dangerous so we can do multiple things to try and tank up:

1- Facet of protection (while surrounded you are more resistant) 2- Facet of purpose (picking up orb gives frost armour ) 2.1- Frost armour (Stacks 5 times giving 22.5% dr) 3- Galvanic armour ( while amplified incoming damage is reduced) 4- Recuperation (replenishes health each time you pick up an orb) 5- Knockout (defeating targets with melee restores HP) 6- Riskrunner ( Your mostly using abilities for everything so just holding this vastly increases your arc resistance) 7- Elemental resistances ( I don't use arc because of Riskrunner, unless a threat) 7.1- Solar resistance (use 2 if a threat) 7.2- Void resistance (use 2 if a threat) 7.3- Arc Resistance (use 1 if a threat, Riskrunner will absorb arc damage) 8- Resilience (ALWAYS HAVE 100 RESILIENCE) 9- Turn down your framerate to 60. I know it sounds dumb but a few of Bungie enemies like wyverns and tormenters do double damage to higher framerate players. (I only do this when soloing a GM, especially new strike. He will one shot you even with double void resist if you have higher framerate)

In this bit we will be going over all annoying enemies that you will face.

Champions:

Unstoppable 1- Becomes very stoppable in front of consecration (ignites the target causing unstops to be stunned). 2- Shackle Grenade (Suspends target) 3- Glacial Quake (if your really out of options is a great panic button that also stuns unstoppable's) 4- Can swap out a gun for a sidearm (there are many great rocket sidearms) 5- Transcendence Electrified Snare grenade. (Will Suspend and Jolt targets)

Barrier 1- Generally a shackle + Consecration (Normally is enough to instakill them so you wont have to break them) 2- Riskrunner (There are a lot of great SMG's this season including the new raid weapon and Riskrunner. They are very effective shield breakers) 3- Sniper ( I like to sometimes swap out my Lost Signal for Critical Anomaly. Snipers are super META this season and I would encourage everything to grab one)

Overload 1- Sword (Your in melee already so hit it with a sword. The overload sword artefact or any sword with cold steel perk will stun them in one hit) 2- Chill Clip (Any weapon with chill clip or cold steel such as Critical Anomaly will stun with one shot) 3- Shackle + Consecration (once again will one shot if your syntho's are procced) 4- Transcendence Electrified Snare grenade. (Will Suspend and Jolt targets)

Hard Enemies:

Wyverns are Shackleable and weak to consecration. As such are a minor threat. Beware do not get close without a stun as they will shotgun you.

Shirkers in higher level content can be a problem if encountered many times. The best solution is to swap out lost signal or your heavy to a sniper or machinegun.

Tormenters Torments are incredible resistant to everything except precision damage, so again any good sniper or machinegun will do the job. They are however very weak to Twilight Arsenal axes as they directly hit the weak points. So consider swapping it out on tormenter heavy area's like 3rd encounter salvations edge raid.

Subjugators They are both weak to consecration and before there rage mode can be shackled. (yes they have a rage mode, I did not notice for a long time cause they died so quick)

We all like big numbers but not every boss is the same so we have 3 different weapon loadouts. Don't panic! The build is the same just the weapons will change.

For raid boss damage we will be switching our Titan mark to Spirit of the Eternal Warrior and Spirit of the Star-Eater. This will give our super a tone of damage and give x4 void surge to our weapons.

We will also be swapping our super to Twilight Arsenal, replacing facet of ruin with facet of dawn and replacing frenzied blade with shield throw. This is because with facet of dawn a melee attach gives radiant. You cant trust those shifty warlocks to put down a well.

For Loadouts there are 3 different weapon sets for every boss in the game.

Long range/Div/Precision damage: https://dim.gg/p5oysjy/Nightfall This build is the best DPS build in the game for Titan on boss that are really far away (Oryx and Witness) and/or have a really long DPS phase (Golgeroth).

We will be using snipers so for best damage please pick all sniper perks in the artefact including Anti-Barrier as it overcharges the weapon.

1- Primary Weapon of your choice (Or Rocket sidearm) 2- A support weapon of your choice. Can include special sniper or other good DPS options once you run out of ammo. (Personally I like Ikelos sniper and when I run out of heavy I swap it to still-hunt if I still have time.) 3- Whisper of the worm. With the current artefacts it is best in slot for DPS. It has incredible total damage and DPS making it a great option. It is however relatively hard to use in witness. So please practice before use or use the generic DPS instead.

Sword Range: https://dim.gg/kg6ibri/SwordDPS There are a few bosses in this game where swords are the best option. Bes tin slot is falling guillotine but any void sword with whirlwind blade works well. E.G The other half . Please change artefact to have sword perks including overload and expanding Abyss.

1- Primary Weapon of your choice (Or Rocket sidearm) 2- Ergo Sum to proc wolfpack rounds 3- Void sword like Falling guillotine with whirlwind blade

(P.S I like to change to off solar surge to better already armour mod so we can get a bit more survivable. But if you don't have a void sword please keep surges on)

Generic DPS: https://dim.gg/rzr2p6i/DpsBasic This is the loadout you will be using 90% of the time as it has good total damage and does its damage quickly as most bosses have short DPS phases.

For this build like the long ranged build please change your artefact to have sniper damage buffs and expanding abyss.

1- Primary Weapon of your choice (Or Rocket sidearm) 2- Still Hunt/cloudstrike 3- Edge Transit/ Rocket

Edge Transit with Envious and Bait&Switch is best in slot as it gets x4 void surge through your ult and when you weapon swap with still-hunt you have x3 solar surge creating an insane amount of damage.

In this bit we will be going over options for weapons and armour you may not have:

Exotics: 1- Riskrunner (Don't lie! Its given to you at the start of the game for all players)

2- Titan Mark. If you do not have the roll for innermost light and Synthoceps please just use regular heart. You may have less damage but when you cast abilities the overcharge given on regular heart does give a small increase in damage that offsets the loss of Synthoceps.

3- Titan Mark Boss DPS. If you don't have the roll a good option is the new Titan exotic chest piece Hazardous Propulsion. The extra free damage given from your dash is very good especially if your using a rocket.

Legendary: 1- Lost Signal. Any darkness weapon will do the job. All lost signal is doing is there to generate darkness as fast as possible. 2-Sword with cold steel. Don't panic Bungi has got you covered. The artefact has anti overload on sword.

Armour Stats: Resilience is the MOST important stat in the game for PVE. If you can only get one stat to 100. MAKE IT RESILIENCE After that strength and then discipling. Recovery is not that necessary as you heal from your melee.
WORD OF WARNING armour mods are far more important than stats. While having high stats is satisfy and looks good. Having the correct armour mods on will give you far great power than any stat increase.

Riskrunner This build is the slam build and we are doing everything in our power to make our slams strong, faster and more awesome. That means in reality with you will be shooting targets very little if at all. For that reason I wanted to use an exotics that just by holding it you would benefit. By just holding it you get a tone of arc resistance. This makes you even tanker so you can slam more!

Titan Mark Spirit of Synthoceps this greatly increase's your melee damage at almost no cost and is a great pick. Another great option is spirit of contact while not having as much single target damage has greater add clear potential.\

Spirit of innermost light is a must have for this build. Even if you do not have the rolled exotic mark please just use this. Heart of innermost light is key to slamming. While not having the increase damage sucks the base exotic does slightly increase ability damage making up partially for the downsides.
