Welcome, Guardians! In today's video, we're diving into why you should equip the Contraverse Hold exotic gauntlets on your Voidwalker Warlock in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Let's unlock the true potential of your Void subclass and dominate the battlefield!
First, let's talk about the star of the show: Contraverse Hold. These exotic gauntlets provide the Chaotic Exchanger perk, which offers significant benefits:
Improved Charge Rate: Reduces the charge time of your Void grenades. Damage Resistance: Grants resistance from incoming damage while charging a grenade. Grenade Energy Return: When you hit an enemy with a charged grenade, you get a portion of your grenade energy back. These perks make Contraverse Hold perfect for a grenade-centric Voidwalker build, allowing you to unleash a barrage of powerful grenades with minimal downtime.
To maximize the effectiveness of Contraverse Hold, we'll use two key aspects: Feed the Void and Chaos Accelerant.
Feed the Void Feed the Void is essential for this build. When you defeat an enemy with a Void ability, you activate Devour, which heals you fully and grants grenade energy for each kill you get while Devour is active. This creates a loop of constant healing and grenade energy, enhancing your survivability and ability to spam grenades.
Chaos Accelerant Chaos Accelerant allows you to overcharge your Void grenades, making them more deadly. Overcharged grenades deal more damage and have increased effectiveness, which synergizes perfectly with the grenade energy return from Contraverse Hold.
Now, let's look at the Fragments that will amplify this build even further:
Echo of Remnants Echo of Remnants increases the duration of your lingering grenade effects, such as Vortex grenades. This pairs well with Chaos Accelerant, ensuring your grenades deal maximum damage over time and control the battlefield longer.
Echo of Undermining Echo of Undermining makes your Void grenades weaken enemies, causing them to take increased damage from all sources. This debuff synergizes with both your abilities and your team's firepower, making it easier to take down tougher enemies.
Echo of Instability Echo of Instability grants your Void grenades the ability to create Void weapon volatile rounds. This adds explosive damage to your Void weapons, increasing your overall DPS and making your weaponry more versatile and powerful.
Echo of Harvest Echo of Harvest generates Orbs of Power from precision final blows on weakened targets. Since Echo of Undermining weakens enemies with your grenades, you can create Orbs of Power consistently. These Orbs fuel your Super and abilities, keeping the cycle of devastation going strong.
Step 1: Charge and Throw Grenade: Use Chaos Accelerant to overcharge your grenade and engage bonus damage resistance.
Step 2: Hit and Weaken Enemies: Your grenade, empowered by Echo of Undermining, weakens enemies and will trigger Devour on final blows.
Step 3: Maintain Devour by getting kills with weapons or abilities. Each final blow will heal you and restore extra grenade energy.
Step 4: Use Pocket Singularity against aggressive enemies.
Step 5: After Defeating enemeis with Grenades Void Weapons will have Volatile Rounds for a short duration.
Step 6: Use Void Weapons with Repulsor Brace/ Destabalizing Rounds for maximum effectiveness.
Step 7: Charge and Throw Vortex Grenades as available.
Step 8: Cast Nova Bomb Super against big groups of enemies, Champions and Bosses.
Step 9: Use Healing Rift when low on Health or when enemies are swarming.
