STRAND WARLOCK MATAIODOXIA BUILD (NEW PLAYER FRIENDLY)

If you’re looking for a powerful Strand Warlock build, Mataiodoxia is an exotic you’ll definitely want ready in your loadout.

While it will be great on Prismatic (letting you use Devour and Radiant together), it’s especially strong on base Strand, especially after recent subclass changes.

What Mataiodoxia Does It has a built-in perk called Stylostixis, letting your Arcane Needles pierce Barrier Champion shields.

Most Barrier Champions lose their shields with 1 Needle (tougher activities may need 2–3).

When you hit an enemy with a Needle, they become marked.

Defeating marked enemies creates a Suspending explosion, lifting nearby enemies.

Hitting marked enemies with two more Needles instantly creates a bigger Suspend explosion, letting you chain crowd control.

Your Arcane Needles also apply Unravel (Strand damage-over-time for 8 seconds). You get up to 3 Needle charges, letting you maintain consistent damage and control in fights.
