Glaives have finally gotten some love in this season’s Artifact. So with this build we are on prismatic warlock, that way you can use a class exotic with spirit of synthoceps to boost your glaive melee damage by another 100% while surrounded. Ideally you’d have a class exotic with Spirits of inmost light as well for more ability regeneration but the main thing you need is synthoceps. Otherwise you can run with Winter’s Guile if you don’t have a class exotic with Synthoceps.

The incredible thing about this build is it’s pure survivability. With glaives offering you a shield that can block 97.5% of all damage, you can instantly have safety, but we also have numerous ways to heal. With the aspect feed the void we get an enhanced devour that will fully heal us on kills, but we also bring facet of Protection so that while surrounded we take 15% less damage, and Facet of Purpose paired with Song of Flame so that when we pick up orbs, we gain 5 seconds of restoration. This is a bit overkill, but I like it in the off chance I can’t guarantee a kill.

The other huge part of this build is that because synthoceps buffs any melee damage, we can then bring Lightning Surge so that we can slide and hit our melee to call down lightning, jolting enemies and build bolt charge for each lightning strike that hits. Then we pair that with the arcane needle melee so that we can have 3 charges. That’s why I also like to bring facet of Dawn, so that whenever we activate Lightning surge, we go radiant.
