How It Works

💥 Wishful Ignorance Strand Titan Build (Easy Breakdown for New Players) Today, we’re diving into a powerful Titan Strand build that centers around an exotic armor piece that just got a major buff: Wishful Ignorance.

This exotic comes with a perk called Wish-Dragon’s Talons, and it’s designed to enhance melee-focused abilities like:

Frenzied Blade

Flechette Storm

Banner of War

🧱 Why It’s So Strong Now Previously, this exotic was mostly good in team-based activities—but now it shines both solo and in teams thanks to its updated perks.

🥷 Core Perks of Wishful Ignorance 1. +1 Frenzied Blade Charge Normally, Titans get 3 Frenzied Blade charges. With this exotic, you now get 4 total charges, giving you more frequent melee attacks.

  1. Wish-Dragon's Talons Buff Every time you land hits with Frenzied Blade or Flechette Storm, you build up Wish-Dragon’s Talons stacks (up to 3).

These stacks increase your melee damage dramatically.

Flechette Storm damage bonus: 10% → 50% → 200%

Frenzied Blade damage bonus: 20% → 50% → 200%

This means you can outdamage even Synthoceps, which is huge.

🏴‍☠️ Banner of War Synergy When Banner of War is active:

You gain +5% melee energy per pulse (every 2.5s initially, faster with more stacks)

This increases to:

+15% energy with 2 teammates nearby

+25% energy with 5 teammates

You’ll also get:

+100% melee damage

+40% Super damage

+10% sword damage

+20 HP healing per pulse (faster healing as Banner builds)

🌪 Ability Rotation and Gameplay Loop This build focuses heavily on Flechette Storm for ranged melee damage and Frenzied Blade for up-close fights.

Flechette Storm uses 50% melee energy per cast, so with a full bar, you can cast it 8 times in a row.

Up to 5 of those can deal +200% damage with full Wish-Dragon stacks.

Each Flechette projectile unravels enemies, dealing damage over time.

Frenzied Blade severs enemies, reducing their damage by 40%.

Against tougher enemies, start with Frenzied Blade, then follow up with Flechette Storm for big burst damage.

🧵 Strand Grenade & Grapple Use We're using the Grapple grenade, which gives us another melee-like attack.

Grapple melee also unravels enemies and benefits from Banner of War’s damage buffs.

🔢 Stat Priority Focus your stats around melee and super regeneration:

100+ Strength gives you +190% melee energy regeneration

200 Strength adds +30% melee damage

Your melees (Frenzied Blade, Grapple Melee, Flechette Storm) all benefit from this.

🔗 Fragment Choices Thread of Fury – Gain 10–25% melee energy by hitting enemies with Tangles.

Thread of Transmutation – While Woven Mail is active, your weapons generate Tangles on kills.

Thread of Generation – Get grenade energy whenever you take damage.

Thread of Warding – Picking up an orb gives Woven Mail, which reduces damage by 45%.

When Woven Mail is active, and you're using the Shieldcrush artifact mod:

You gain +50% melee regen speed

And +50% melee damage

🧬 Artifact Mod Support Some key artifact mods for this build:

Shieldcrush – Boosts melee damage and regen with Woven Mail active

Tightly Woven – Grants +20 stats to grenade and class ability when Woven Mail is active

Tangled Web – Suspending blast around you when Tangles are created (great for crowd control)

Elemental Coalescence – Helps generate extra Tangles

Optional synergy with Solar weapons:

Fever and Chill – Grants Radiant on precision hits (+20% weapon damage)

Cauterized Darkness – Boosts Solar damage by 30% against debuffed enemies

🔫 Weapon Choices Exotic Weapons:

The Lament – Synergizes with melee focus

Gjallarhorn – Great for team-based ad clear

Lord of Wolves

Whirling Ovation

Finality’s Auger

Legendary Perks to Look For:

Incandescent, Chain Reaction, Dragonfly, Burning Ambition

Pugilist – Generates melee energy on kills

Grave Robber – Reloads part of the mag after melee hits

One-Two Punch – +150% melee damage after a shotgun hit

🛡 Armor Suggestions There isn’t a perfect set yet, but the Bushido Armor Set is a good fit:

Heals you on final blows after swapping weapons

Bonus resistance after kills with shotguns or swords, both of which pair well with this build

🏆 Final Thoughts With all the updates to the armor system, we’ve seen some amazing new builds rise—and this Wishful Ignorance Strand Titan is one of the best.

If you’re looking for a new melee-focused Titan build that’s great in solo or team play—and want something other than Consecration—this is absolutely worth trying.

Get out there, slice through enemies, and make those dragons proud 🐉
