Build Details
I think a lot of people turned away from strand titan when they saw that grapple was getting tuned down and that the buff from banner of war and Syntoceps or Wormgod caress was getting a nerf. So I decided to try it out and see how it actually felt post nerf.
And to my surprise it actually still felt really strong. I think what people forgot was this build was going from doing absolutely busted numbers that now it still does a ton of damage even though it got nerfed.
The grapple change is specifically for boss encounters and the nerf in total damage is only really felt on bosses. So this build no longer obliterates bosses, but it still does give you and your team massive healing, massive damage resistance and a ton of fun by flying around by grappling to every tangle!
I personally like wormgod caress better with this build but you can absolutely run with synthoceps instead to deal slightly less damage but get that buff to your super.
Get a melee kill or finish an enemy to proc banner of war. With grapple melee or frenzied blade kills, you will create a tangle which you can throw, grappling to it to instantly refund your grapple. You main cycle will be to grapple to any tangle that you create and in the 20 second down time, you can get normal or powered melee kills to keep up your wormgod stacks, which also gives you up to a 35% weapon damage bonus.
