While you have a Void Super equipped, rapid Shotgun final blows or defeating a powerful combatant with a Shotgun will grant a Void overshield and start health regeneration. While you have a Void overshield, Shotguns deal additional damage, and Shotgun final blows refresh the overshield. Provides a moderate benefit to Shotgun airborne effectiveness and reload speed.

How It Works

Video Coming Soon

Pairing Lord of Wolves with No Backup Plans on a Titan in Destiny 2 creates a high-damage, aggressive playstyle that capitalizes on close-quarters combat, Void Overshields, and sustain. Here's why this synergy works well:

  1. No Backup Plans – Void Overshield Synergy No Backup Plans' Force Multiplier perk grants a Void Overshield when getting shotgun final blows while a Void subclass is equipped.

When the Overshield is active, shotguns deal increased damage, making Lord of Wolves even more lethal.

This Overshield provides bonus damage resistance (70%), enhancing survivability in aggressive engagements.

  1. Lord of Wolves – High Burst Damage Lord of Wolves has two fire modes:

Default Mode: Fires a controlled burst, solid for conserving ammo.

Release the Wolves Mode: Unleashes a rapid burst of 10 rounds, which can instantly kill Guardians in PvP or melt enemies in PvE.

With No Backup Plans' shotgun damage bonus, Release the Wolves mode becomes even deadlier, ensuring fast eliminations.

  1. Synergizing Abilities & Playstyle Void Titan benefits:

Overshields regenerate health when spec’d into Defensive Strike (Bastion Aspect).

Echo of Persistence extends Overshield duration.

Echo of Leeching helps sustain melee energy.

Aggressive Playstyle:

Secure a shotgun kill → gain Void Overshield → push aggressively while boosted shotgun damage keeps the momentum.

Gameplay Loop

Step 1: Use Grenade/Barricade to Suspend Enemies Step 2: Use Melee to gain Radiance. Step 3: Follow up with High Burst Weapon Dmg Step 3: Melee Close range enemies for Health Step 4: Use Abilities as available. Step 5: Use Lord of Wolves (high burst weapons) on high value targets/bosses Step 6: Use glaives (w/ no bell) to generate special ammo Step 7: Use Transcendency against large groups of ads to save ammo. (Use it early so you can recharge it for damage phases) Step 8: Bonus Shotgun Damage is ONLY provided after Shotgun Final blows or when Overshield is active... keep that in mind when it comes to boss damage Step 9: Use Super Early in Damage Phases to give time for Weapon Dmg (Super weakens enemies - 15%)
