Why Use Insurmountable Skullfort? Insurmountable Skullfort is a powerful exotic helmet for Arc Titans that offers incredible sustain and aggressive melee playstyle benefits. Its exotic perk, Transfusion Matrix, provides:
Melee kills instantly restore health and start regenerating shields. Melee kills grant full melee energy back. This synergizes perfectly with Arc 3.0's melee-focused abilities, particularly Seismic Strike (shoulder charge) and Thunderclap, allowing for near-unlimited melee uptime and survivability.
Best Arc 3.0 Aspects & Fragments for Skullfort Aspects: Touch of Thunder – If using Storm Grenades, they track targets and last longer, adding extra damage potential. However, this isn’t as melee-focused. Knockout – This is the best pick! Critically wounding an enemy or breaking their shield increases your melee range and damage. Melee kills start health regeneration (stacks with Skullfort’s effect). Makes your melee powered even when uncharged. Fragments: Spark of Feedback – Taking melee damage increases your melee damage. Spark of Resistance – Increased damage resistance when surrounded. Spark of Volts – Finishers and amplified kills grant Jolt to enemies. Spark of Recharge – Faster ability regen when critically wounded. Best Abilities for Skullfort Build Melee: Seismic Strike (Best for mobility, AoE damage, and suppression) or Thunderclap (High burst damage). Grenade: Storm Grenade (for extra damage and area control) or Pulse Grenade (great sustained damage). Class Ability: Thruster (for fast repositioning in melee fights). Super: Thundercrash (for quick boss damage) or Fists of Havoc (for aggressive clearing).
Weapon Recommendations Monte Carlo – Further enhances melee uptime by reducing melee cooldown with kills. Shotguns (The Chaperone, Found Verdict, Matador 64) – Pairs well with the aggressive melee playstyle. Submachine Guns (Ikelos SMG, The Immortal, Tarrabah) – For close-quarters combat effectiveness. One-Two Punch Shotguns – Boosts melee damage on hit, letting you one-shot tougher enemies. Why This Build Works Infinite Melee Loop – Skullfort refills your melee energy instantly on kill, keeping you in the fight. Massive Survivability – You heal and regenerate shields on melee kills, reducing the need for defensive play. High Damage Potential – Knockout enhances melee damage, and Spark of Feedback boosts it further when hit. Great for Add Clear – Seismic Strike and Thunderclap can chain kills, and Jolt can spread damage across enemies.
Why Use Sever? 1. Massive Damage Reduction (40%) This is one of the highest outgoing damage debuffs in the game. It works against bosses, champions, and high-health enemies, making encounters significantly safer. It stacks multiplicatively with Resilience-based damage reduction (tier 10 Resilience = 30% DR), making Titans especially tanky. 2. Boosts Team Survivability Unlike other debuffs that just increase outgoing damage (e.g., Weaken, Volatile Rounds), Sever actively reduces enemy lethality. Great for fireteam play since everyone benefits from the weakened enemy. Pairs well with healing abilities (e.g., Warlock’s Well of Radiance, Titan’s Defensive Barricade).
Step 1: Get Running Start for Juggernaut Shield Step 2: Smash anything in your way. Step 3: Regain momentum Step 4: Smash again Step 5: Grenade what can't be smashed Step 6: Use weapons with Jolt Step 7: If No Melee Energy... Keep Punching Step 8: Shotguns with Trench Barrel/ One two punch help. Step 9: Strand Weapons with Slice/ Tear Help but Slice uses Class Ability. Step 10: DONT Use Class Ability... This Way Juggernaut can stay active when running. Step 11: Thundercrash the big ones!
