Exotic Combat BowPrecision hits and final blows build energy towards a Snareweaver arrow that can be fired from the hip. On impact, Snareweaver arrows create a pattern of traps that suspend nearby targets.
Damaging a powerful combatant or Guardian with an ability temporarily increases weapon damage of the same type. Defeating that marked target with damage that matches the element creates an elemental pickup.
Build Details
This build takes the new Exotic Bow Wish-Keeper and plays into Suspend, Unravel, and Threadlings to the full extent. You will always have a source of Suspend between 2 Shackle Grenades and the Wish-Keeper. Always have a Whirling Maelstrom going that deals great damage and spreads unravel.
Then to top it off your bow will hit 85% harder almost all the time since we always have a source of suspend and our Exotic Foetracer will be proc'd all the time. Foetracer is activated by any ability or Tangles.
It’s a pretty straightforward build on the Strand Hunter, but it dishes out some of the best crowd control in the game and deals decent damage! The new Exotic Bow can be obtained through the new Quest in Season of the Wish and I hope you guys give this one a try! It is great to see so many Strand debuffs being activated at once!
- Throw your Shackle Grenade to proc Foetracer
- Shoot Wish-Keeper which now has a 85% Damage Bonus to kill a single suspended enemy.
- This will create a tangle for you to shoot, We now have the Whirling Maelstrom damaging and unraveling everything!
- By this point you should have a Suspend shot for your Bow to continue the cycle.
- Use your second Shackle grenade and your Threaded Spike Melee as needed
- If played right you will always have a source of suspend, unravel, and a ton of threadlings out all over the place!
