Star-Eater Scales is a top-tier DPS exotic for Hunters, allowing you to overcharge your Super for massive damage, generate more Orbs of Power, and gain increased survivability. When paired with Gathering Storm, this combo turns you into an absolute DPS powerhouse, capable of dealing some of the highest burst damage in the game.
- Exotic Perk – Feast of Light (Star-Eater Scales Effect) Picking up Orbs of Power increases Super energy gained.
At max stacks (x4 Feast of Light), you gain:
Super damage bonus (up to 70% extra in PvE, 35% in PvP).
Healing upon Super activation.
An Overshield after casting your Super.
This makes Star-Eater Scales an essential exotic for maximizing Super damage in PvE and providing extra survivability in endgame content.
- Synergy with Gathering Storm ⚡ 70% Increased Super Damage (Boss-Destroying Potential!) Gathering Storm is one of the highest-damaging Supers in Destiny 2.
Without Star-Eaters, Gathering Storm deals ~600,000 damage to a boss.
With Star-Eaters (x4 Feast of Light), this jumps to ~1,020,000 damage! 💠 Faster Super Regeneration = More DPS Opportunities Star-Eater Scales speeds up Super generation by giving extra energy per Orb pickup.
