Maxing Lightning Ball skill gives you more charges, slows enemies caught in it, and increases the damage. It’s a great tool for push and wave clear, as well as creating opportunities to be less reliant on aim.

Tips for Lightning Ball

  • Almost every build will take 1 point into this skill ASAP so you get 2 charges for easy farm.

  • It’s a very powerful early game skill and if you get 2 points, you can combine this with your Static Charge stun to lock down enemies and do some real damage.

Static Charge (2)

Static Charge (2)

Apply a charge to a target enemy hero. After a short duration, the static charge stuns and damages enemies within the radius.

+0.9s Stun Duration

Maxing Static Charge lets you get more chances to stun, from farther away, and for a whole second longer. Since it’s not aim-reliant as a point-and-click the increased range can make opponents think twice about getting close to you.

Tips for Static Charge

  • It’s almost always worth it to put 1 point so you have more opportunities during laning to catch opponents off guard and counterengage.

  • This is your one defensive tool as Seven, so use wisely. If you use offensively and fail, play cautious until it’s up again.

Power Surge (3)

Power Surge (3)

Power up your weapon with a shock effect, making your bullets proc shock damage on your target. This shock damage bounces to enemies near your target. Occurs once per burst shot.

+12 Shock Damage, improved Spirit scaling, and +3 Max Jumps

Maxing Power Surge is the best way to unlock Seven’s monster DPS potential. More damage, more AOE, more frequently. If opponents leave you alone and you unload a full clip with this up, you will probably win the fight.

Tips for Power Surge

  • Make sure you reload before using this skill. Items that increase magazine size can make using it more forgiving if you aren’t confident in your aim.

  • This rocks for clearing neutral camps when combined with Lightning Ball, so make it a priority as you travel the map.

Storm Cloud (4)

Storm Cloud (4)

Channel an expanding storm cloud around you that damages all enemies within its radius. Enemies do not take damage when they are out of line-of-sight. You have increased Bullet Resist during the channel.

7s Channeling Time

Storm Cloud Upgrades

+35% Bullet Resist while channelling Storm Cloud

+7s Channel Time and +10m Radius

+60 DPS and allows movement control

Maxing Storm Cloud makes you more resilient while casting while increasing the range, damage, and channel time. Real lightning god vibes to this skill as the range is massive.

Tips for Storm Cloud

  • This ability is a noob stomper but as you play against better players, you’ll need to use it cautiously as they can buy items to prevent or interrupt your usage.

  • Ideally you’ll want to wait until after they expend the resources that can stop you and cast it from high elevation to maximize your lines of sight.

How to Counter Seven

  • Seven has a wide range of builds, so try to track his itemization and adjust accordingly.

  • Remember that line of sight blocks his ult, so stay calm and reposition when he's ulting. If you're having problems doing so, get an item like to interrupt it.

  • Knockdown is a fantastic item against Seven. Knockdown Seven while they cast Storm Cloud to cancel it and be able to fight in the open!
