Mina is a glass-cannon type hero who loves to get in to fights quickly, deal damage and then escape with her bats before dying to the enemy.

Strengths

High Mobility from Love Bites 1AP and Sanguine Retreat.
Large amounts of burst damage from Rake , Love Bites and Nox Nostra.
Strong Sustain from items like Radiant Regeneration and Rake's life on kill.

Weaknesses

Very fragile from their low health pool.
Unable to utilize weapon damage due to their bad weapon scaling and boons.
Very susceptible to items such as Slowing Hex or Billy 's Chain Gang.

Tips for Rake

Rake 's life on kill is the best way to sustain during brutal lanes, making sure to constantly kill jungle creeps and candle creeps alike.

Sanguine Retreat does not disjoint spells such as Wraith 's Telekinesis , in order to dodge these make sure to run into the spell headfirst or cast Sanguine Retreat towards the floor.

Tips for Love Bites

Love Bites does not proc items such as Mystic Regeneration or Suppressor from its innate spirit damage on hit. They can only be proc’d when Love Bites itself gets proc’d. Radiant Regeneration still works on hit.

Active: Unleash a cloud of bats that seek out targets, each dealing spirit damage and applying silence. Passive: Triggering Love Bites against heroes permanently increases the number of bats released.

How to Counter Mina

As mentioned before, buying items such as Slowing Hex will shut off Sanguine Retreat and will make Mina easily susceptible to damage.
Mina has very low base health, meaning that large amounts of burst damage like Pocket's Briefcase or Sinclair 's Vexing Bolt , will easily kill her.
Mina's low health also means that she also gets chipped out fairly quickly to fast attacking weapons like Infernus or Wraith.
