Grey Talon is a sharpshooter damage dealer which punishes enemies when in the right position with one of the games only global abilities Guided Owl allows for constant map pressure and kill potential.
Early Game
As one of the strongest lane heroes Hollow Point Ward, Extra Spirit, Extra Charge are the first must buys to increase early game spirit power which makes Grey Talon a very hard hitter.
The next few purchases are almost equally as important as they increase mobility and spirit power, Mystic Burst and Enduring Spirit are good options which give a small power spike to an already great early game damage dealer.
Towards the end of the lane phase the last 3 items Rapid Rounds, High-Velocity Mag, and Extra Stamina give much needed fire rate increase and movement speed which almost allows Grey Talon to start roaming to other lanes.
Mid Game
The first items that should be bought in the mid game will be Improved Cooldown and Long Range for added sustain and increased damage drop off.
After purchasing Kinetic Dash, roaming is crucial to set up winning lanes in assisting your team.
Saving for the first tier 3 items Rapid Recharge and imbuing Charged Shot with Surge of Power is the first power spike of the mid game which increases kill potential as Grey Talon has a dramatic mid game fall off.
Pristine Emblem (sell Rapid Rounds) is a good option for weapon damage and spirit damage + resist while also increasing bullet velocity.
The last tier 3 purchases are Improved Burst, Improved Spirit, and Sharpshooter scale Grey Talon's spirit damage to mitigate falloff and increased weapon falloff and damage.
Late Game
After saving for a tier 4 the first purchase Spiritual Overflow for an increase in cooldown reduction and fire rate plus spirit power to match as talon scales slower throughout the midgame.
Crippling Headshot is good for a damage increase and teamwide buff on added bullet resistance.
Situational Items
The best time to add Improved Bullet Armor and Improved Spirit Armor is situational depending how fast on enemy team scales but is usually purchased during the mid to late game.
Superior Stamina is a great choice for stamina recovery added mobility as base movement speed is slow plus small fire rate increase.
If not going armors the alternative would be Enchanter's Barrier for the shield and added conditional spirit power.
Debuff Reducer or Debuff Remover are great options against teams with large amounts of debuffs and stuns, especially against Knockdownand Slowing Hex.
