Overview

Apollo was added to Deadlock's roster as part of the Old Gods, New Blood update.

He's a high skill cap duelist with a ton of outplay potential. While he does have some range, he excels in close quarters and baiting enemies into poor trades.

While he doesn't offer that much teamfight utility, he can put a lot of pressure on isolated targets.

How to Counter Apollo

Apollo struggles in large teamfights, so force objectives often, such as the Urn or Mid-Boss.
Apollo has a fairly low range as well, so long range trades like Grey Talon's Charged Shot or attacking from high ground is a great idea as well!
Since Apollo relies on his Cooldowns for most of his damage, an early Silence Wave is a great idea to stop any retaliation from his Disengaging Sigil or Riposte.
