TFT Set 11 Irelia: Returning but with a Twist
Irelia has been in the game for many sets now, but she’s returning to Set 11 with a major twist. Irelia is now a ranged carry rather than a melee one.
This is the first time this has happened, showing that Riot Games has no shortage of new ideas to introduce to TFT.
How Irelia Works
Not only is Irelia a ranged carry, but she’s also a little different from other ranged units.
Her auto attacks now function differently from every other unit. Instead of attacking like normal, Irelia will send out blades that slice through enemies and flow from enemy to enemy.
Because of this, she doesn’t attack like normal. Attack Speed doesn’t function like normal either, and instead increases the speed at which blades fly from enemy to enemy.
Lastly, instead of gaining mana like most units, she will simply cast her active ability after her blades hit 8 times.
Overall, she mainly functions the same way most ranged units do, but with more flair and style than the others. Irelia will definitely be a unit players a looking forward to fielding for the first time.
