Win Condition

The goal of this deck is simple – put as many Puffcaps as possible into the enemy deck and then finish the game off with Corina, Mastermind.

Mulligans

In this deck, you want to mulligan for a good early game curve like Teemo, Puffcap Pup, and Clump of Whumps.

If you need more early game blockers you can also mulligan for Stinky Whump and Otterpus.

This deck usually finishes the game around turns 6-8.

Card Choices & Key Synergies

Teemo / Puffcap Pup

Puffcap Pup (LoR card)

Teemo and Puffcap Pup are your ideal early drops of the deck. These cards allow you to apply pressure and also start putting Puffcaps in the enemy deck.

Teemo has Elusive so it is hard to block his chip damage, while Puffcap Pup has Quick Attack so it’s also hard to block.

You can chip for 2 damage with Puffcap Pup while also putting 3 Puffcaps in their deck, and then block with him to put 3 more in the deck.

Stinky Whump / Otterpus

These cards are the chump blockers of the deck that help alleviate pressure. Having these cards on defense allows you to live extra turns and get good combat trades.

Stinky Whump is putting 2 Puffcaps in their deck and also gives them a poor draw for the turn. Otterpus can block while also giving you spell mana for later with Attune.

Otterpus also gives you a Prank that you want to use with Puffcap Peddler to put 3 Puffcaps in their deck.

Puffcap Peddler / Chump Whump

These cards are two of the main ways to put a ton of Puffcaps in the enemy deck. Puffcap Peddler combines with Poison Dart, Pranks, or Mushroom Clouds to put a ton of Puffcaps in the enemy deck.

Chump Whump gives you two Mushroom Clouds when combined with Peddler this puts a whopping 16 Puffcaps in the enemy deck.

The goal is to put as many Puffcaps in the deck with these cards before you play Corina, Mastermind.

Lecturing Yordle / Caitlyn

Lecturing Yordle and Caitlyn put traps in the enemy deck through attacking. Lecturing Yordle gives you a Poison Dart on summoning and attack.

You can use these to get rid of enemy blockers, deal damage to the enemy nexus, or even combine with Puffcap Peddler for a ton of Puffcaps.

Caitlyn puts Flashbombs in the deck which can be nice to clear enemy units. More notably, Caitlyn is used for her level up for which is easily achievable in this deck.

Caitlyn can regularly deal anywhere from 1-5+ damage with her level-up ability due to the high amount of Puffcaps in the enemy deck.

Corina, Mastermind / Insider Knowledge

Corina, Mastermind (LoR card)Insider Knowledge (LoR card)

Corina, Mastermind and Insider Knowledge are two of your main win cons of the deck. Both of these cards reap the benefits of your opponent’s deck being filled with Puffcaps.

The goal is to put as many Puffcaps in the enemy deck before using these cards so the enemy can take potentially 10+ damage in Puffcaps. Corina, Mastermind activates the traps in the top 5 cards of the enemy deck which puts on a ton of damage.

Insider Knowledge makes your opponent draw 2 cards, which can even be used in response to an enemy attack or spell.

Good Matchups

This deck is amazing against Control matchups. In this deck, you can chip away at them in the early game with Teemo and Puffcap Pup for some easy damage and Puffcap.

Then you want to play Puffcap Peddler and put as many Puffcaps in their deck as possible.

Finally, you want to finish off with Corina, Mastermind. This strategy is easy to achieve against Control decks because their win cons are slow and they aren’t pressuring you.

This allows you to have many turns to set up big plays with Puffcap Peddler and gives your opponent more turns to draw their Puffcaps.

Bad Matchups

A tough matchup for this deck is Rally decks such as Lulu Poppy. Rally decks can put on a lot of pressure and use Relentless Pursuit to finish the game out of nowhere.

Luckily, this deck is packed with a ton of chump blockers such as Stinky Whump and Otterpus to give you valuable combat trades for cheap while also keeping a lot of mana leftover.

You can use a Prank to increase the cost of Relentless Pursuit which slows your opponent down. Poison Dart is also good in this matchup to chip away at enemy units or remove their low-health ones such as Fleetfeather Tracker.

Tech Choices

The tech choices in this deck can replace copies of Clump of Whumps or Stinky Whumps.

Pokey Stick

Pokey Stick (LoR Card)

Pokey Stick is a great way to clear early game units while also drawing more cards. It is a universal card that is great in many scenarios.

Stress Defense

Stress Defense (LoR Card)

This card is great at protecting Teemo and Puffcap Peddler from removal spells. This card can also answer threats like Sion for a turn and give you a few more turns to win through Puffcap draws.

Veteran Investigator

This card is a great way to refuel while also making your opponent draw Puffcaps.

I replaced this with Chump of Whumps since without freezes you are a lot more vulnerable to pressure your opponent can draw off of this.
