In this guide, we will talk about the 5 easiest champions to play in League of Legends. They are in no particular order, and this list is somewhat opinionated.
You may find some champions much easier than the ones we list, or you may find these champions incredibly hard to play- and that’s totally okay!
Here are 5 of the easiest champions to play in League of Legends.
1. Garen
Garen is a flexible champion that can be played in the mid and top lane.
He is a great beginner champion and the first on our list.
Garen is pretty easy because he doesn’t have any mana, so you can fight as frequently as you wish, he doesn’t have any skill shots which makes it near impossible for you to miss your abilities, and his Passive offers him a lot of additional sustain in lane which will increase your survivability.
Learn Garen’s kit by checking out Garen’s champion page for beginner tips and tricks and his ability breakdown.
Similar champions to Garen are Darius, Fiora and Illaoi.
2. Malphite
Malphite is another flexible champion that can be played in a ton of roles.
Traditionally he is a tank champion, but he can be built full AP and one-shot enemies.
He is pretty weak early on, but as long as you don’t die you’ll quickly become unstoppable. Additionally, gets a shield from his Passive that blocks incoming damage- which will increase your survivability.
Malphite also has a very large AOE Ultimate that can be used to knockup the whole enemy team.
As teams usually group close together, even if Malphite’s behind, getting his Ultimate off on multiple enemies could win his team the fight.

Similar champions to Malphite are Amumu, Dr Mundo and Nautilus.
3. Ashe
Ashe is a fan favourite ADC. She is pretty simple and her skill shots are pretty easy to hit.
She doesn’t do too much early on, which allows players to learn the ADC role while playing Ashe.
Currently, Ashe is a strong ADC and meta, so you will do well on her regardless of how good you are on her! She only has 1 skill shot, which is her Ultimate.
During the laning phase, she can harass the enemy from afar with her W while remaining somewhat safe.
Her Ultimate is very good in the mid and late game as it has a short cooldown and can be used to catch enemies out of position.
While she doesn’t have a dash, her Ultimate can be used as a pick and self-peel tool.

Similar champions to Ashe are Caitlyn, Senna and Sivir.
4. Master Yi
Master Yi is one of the simplest champions in the game. He is a good champion to learn the Jungle role because he is very simple.
He doesn’t have skill shots, and all he does is really auto-attack. The hardest thing about Master Yi is timing his Q to dodge incoming damage.
Master Yi is a great Jungler to learn as he relies less on his team compared to other Junglers.
If he can get ahead, he can quickly snowball and take over the map.
Master the Yi by checking out Master Yi’s champion page which has a lot of tips to help you out. It also has the best jungle route to help you get started.
Similar champions to Master Yi are Sejuani, Kayn and Talon.
5. Janna
Janna is a very simple Support with a very vanilla but strong kit.
She doesn’t require the player to be the best mechanical player in the game to master, and as long as you can press E on your allies, you will be able to play her well.
Janna can keep her allies and herself alive for longer with her shields, and she can use her Ultimate to heal her allies.
Not to mention that can use her E to protect her when trading with the enemy, and she can poke from afar with her basic attacks and W.
She also has multiple disengage tools to help escape an enemy all-in.
Blow your enemies away by using Janna’s champion page to help you get the best start to Janna!
Similar champions to Janna are Sona, Lux and Soraka.
Conclusion
